Do women in the USA actually have health rights?? Or are you just referring to a woman's right to control her fertility or to decide herself when and if she will fall pregnant, or, if she should fall pregnant, whether or not she will carry the pregnancy to full term, without reference to the doctrinal strictures of clerics and religions that she has no affiliation with anyway?

 

It was about contraceptives and Catholic church affiliated organizations providing them out of mandate by the gov't and the church saying "no". But the commies just called it "Womens' health rights" because it was "for the children".

 

When will 0bama come out of the closet about jobs, the economy, the deficit energy prices etc?

I find the Pope's own words (about the Church's opposition to G&L marriage) flesh crawlingly ironic.....

It seems that some of the Church's clergy and laity have taken the Pope's position very proactively.

Of the medical services organisations affiliated with the Catholic Church, are they fully funded by the Church or are they government funded? If they are government funded, ought not tax payers who use those services be free to be provided the services (that are legal in the secular community) that their taxes have contributed to funding? If the Church has ethical qualms about providing contraceptive products or family planning based on contraceptive usage, then it perhaps ought not be holding its hand out for the Government dollar.

 

Let me put it to you this way. I could give two shits what the church thinks, says, or does. But if the gov't doesn't represent what it does with MY money STOLEN from my pocket, then they can kiss my ass on all these public offerings. I would go so far as to completely eliminate welfare ENTIRELY. Medicaid, Medicare, SS, AND corporate welfare as well. All they do is subsidize death.

 

I don't think Ugrev was suggesting that contributors to SS should forfeit their contributions, I think that he was suggesting that it should be left to the individual to make their own arrangements for SS rather than being compelled to use a particular system mandated by the government.

 

You got suckered like the rest of us? It's gone.. and whether you realize it or not, you paid for the generation ahead of you and I'm paying for you. So you're not getting YOUR money back, you're getting MY money. See how that works?

Aside from that.. it should stop, right now. NO MORE SS contributions from any new workers to the systems. It's time for people to start shoring up their own life-styles. Further more, in order for this to happen without sending people into immediate poverty, or having to work until the instant they die.. we must stabilize and revitalize our MONEY, not just our currency.

 

I will give up what I've paid in right now--25 years of working....as long as I don't have to pay anymore in. I think there are a lot of Americans who would do the same. It's not a benefit......it's a tax. Your money is gone.

The very fact that politicians borrow from this fund shows that it is not sacrosanct to them, yet the mere utterance of doing away with it causes people to get a bee in their bonnet. This is the biggest scam ever done on the American people and a cash cow.
