Cooking your own Chow is a necessary skill to get by in the day ahead.

This is from the folks at Utah State U - a institution that should know, eh?

    Enjoy

A good useful and easy to follow resource. In circumstances where self sufficiency and self reliance become a necessity, the capacity to prepare and store foodstuffs long term will be important in bridging seasonal (and other) food shortages.

    Zimmy Wait, I'm not ready!

I'm a foodie and a good cook. Most of the freeze dried stuff out there is a challenge to improve upon.

25 year old freeze dried spaghetti and meat sauce with added fresh green cabbage was a hit. It's a cabbage roll type result.

Time to eat those Y2K meals and restock!
