Well my only comments would be.... it works fine for what it is. Anyone with naked eyes alone would not see the infared leds. However, that rig will jump out of the background like a regular spotlight to anyone with a NOD (night observation device) and not using an infared illuminator. Infared illuminators of any type are something to be looking for in the dark. I have yet to do a tactical test, but I would not be surprised if a rifle scope with an illuminated reticle can be seen as well. I have both the NOD and a scope with the illuminated reticle. I will give a report after I check it out with a friend.

I was only making an observation from that view point. And, It did get me thinking about whether or not my 2 rifles with illuminated reticles would be visible to someone looking my way with a NOD. I know for sure I am not the only one with one. The device in the video would come in handy in many applications. I just though someone should point out the obvious drawbacks too. It is an outstanding example of ingenuity that would have significant merit. Thanks for the post.
Well, it may not work well against well-equipped troops, but it could give you the advantage over Bubba and Jamal trying to do a break-in. You can stay 'dark' and see what the boys are up to, and take care of business as necessary.
