IMO this is worst case, I can't imagine them doing that to west missouri and northeast colorado and surrounding areas. That many ground bursts? For empty missile silos? If so the midwest will be a radioactive wasteland straight outta madmax. not to mention the radiation wash off down the mississippi.

That is pretty cool slugomist.
I dont think we have to worry so much about this scale of attack.
But the map can help determine potential targets in your area or BOL and even used in determing your bugout route for areas to avoid. Prevailing winds are good for any kind of NBC.

Where I am in norcal is a nice clear spot, Skousen rates it as the 4th safest place in U. S.

 

Yes It'd be nice to make ConUS map with all strikes and highways. Thatd be a worth while map also places where you NEED a fallout shelter for X days. or evac plan, etc

I also find us within 65 miles of a strike zone. Hope it never comes up.

 

Here is one to try. I have to mod the overlaymaps, as they overlay on each other blocking some info, then i'll redo it so the CONUS is covered. Probably be done by the end of this week.

After you DL the file, open google earth and then open the file in google earth. It should work.

 

It doesn't seem to be working or it's user error.
It's 226kb so it's too big to upload there is a 195kb limit
That's with only 3 states

 

Ah ha it worked, the pic is what it looks like, I tried to keep the overlay as light as possible so you can see the bldgs under. I still have a few more states to do. Will be complete by tomorrow.

Download the .kmz file and load using google earth. I think it'll work, let me know


also not all are a good match, but most are very close,you can find the target next to spot usually if you look, for example lone power plant, dam, mil base, airfield etc.

If you right click on the State in the left PLACES place then selectproperties, you can adjust themap overlays, darkness size etc.

Ok 'tis done. Attached is the final map.

There were no images for Montana and New Mexico. If any one has them pass them to me please.

If part of a state, other than MT and NM does not have overlay then no nukes hit there.
