SHTF Scenario TV Show "World Without Oil" Monday March 8 10P

Thought some of you might be interested in this. Most of us understand what will happen but for the people that think .gov is coming to help, this may be an eye opener. Looks like it could be any SHTF situation and not just the lack of oil. It will be on the National Geographic channel, but check the program time for your time zone.

Did anybody watch this? I missed it, but it replays this Thurs. at 8 PM MST.

I watched it and they pretty much sugar coated what it would be like. The main focus was on biodiesel, ethanol and alternative energy sources. "Large amounts" of the population dying from starvation is mentioned a few times, but they did not go into detail about how bad it really would be. There was also no mention of people fighting and/or killing each other over food. They also failed to take into consideration that without electricity most people would not be able to get clean water and that would be a bigger problem then food. One part of the show said people in the cities would start growing there own food to live on...I laughed at this...Water, heirloom seeds for the next season, growing knowledge, protecting the crops and many other problems, GOOD LUCK!!!

Unless you don't know anything about biodiesel, you are not going to learn anything that will help you in a SHTF situation. Watch it if you have time but don't put off anything for it.
