The only thing that he said that might not be "full of it" is the IPSC Columbia Conference. On the link below, if you go to the bottom, it says all people present signed and there is a John M. Davis on the left hand side 4th down. Now it only says "present" not shooters, so he could have only been there to serving food and drinks or been the official target putter upper and taker downer.

He goes around the different gun forums saying outrageous stuff. Usually posts a lot at one time before someone figures out who he is and bans him. A self-proclaimed expert you'd never want to listen to.

 

Well, in his defense, John Melvin does liven up the boards for a day or two. Nice to get a little 'light entertainment' now and again. About once a month or so, when he goes off his meds and escapes The Home.......
Then we spank him and send him packing.

Don't know about the tin foil hat, but a couple drinks before reading his posts makes it more tolerable and then agreeing with him will make it more interesting until he is banned again.

 

Ye verily: Gunkids' paticular brand of "crazy" is not for the weak stomached; Abandon hope all ye who enter one of those threads.

I would only recommend you do what I have tested on myself first : Start drinking heavily... Then: "meh" what's a few braincells between posts! besides Alcohol only kills off the weak/slow brain cells; thereby improving the herd.

 

I see Melvin as being like the Nerdy Kid at high school, spouting wild BS to try to impress the Football Team. They coax him along for awile, all the while laughing at him as his stories get more grandiose. Eventually they tire of him and kick him out of the frat house.

 

...and then they stuff him into a wall locker!
