We are reaching the point that you need to decide fight or fold. If we stand for forced registration or confiscation they win. We will need to shoot them at the door when them come and make it so costly that they will decide it is not worth the effort. I am quoting Michael Savage a radio talk show host on what the Jews in Germany 1939 should have done. Make up your mind now live as a subject or accept the probability of death and fight.

And while you're at it, make the investment in a video surveillance system that can live stream to the web where some of your trusted friends can access the video to post on YouTube later on.

Imagine what would have happened if people had seen Vicki Weaver murdered live on streaming video....

I will say that I do not believe I will ever get a knock on my door from local LEO or ATF inquiring about any firearms I might have.

BUT. Stranger things have happened, and in light of that there are facts people need to accept if they choose to fight.

Your deer cabin will be called a bunker. Your squirrel rifle will become an assault rifle. Your root cellar/tornado shelter will labeled a bomb shelter. You will be painted as a paranoid survivalist, or racist, or a gang member, or a drug lord, or doomsday prepper, or any number of catch phrases guaranteed to turn the general public against you. Regardless of what might have actually happened, you will be made out to be the unreasonable, quite possibly unstable, aggressor. Your arrest, imprisonment, or worse, death, will be for nothing. You will be a blurb on the evening news, crucified, vilified, and swept under the rug, and your story will strike fear into the hearts of others and convince many to back down.

Unless you take steps to ensure that there is video proof of what really went down. Not verbal from a family member. Not written on a piece of paper. No one gives a shit about that. They only believe what they can see. You show them what really went down, and fury will replace fear, and THAT is the only thing that will put the brakes on any grand ideas our government might have about door to door confiscations and forced registrations.

Hot damn ain't I preachy and punchy this evening?

I brought this very point up a few days ago . . . "Option A" has a known outcome. Normalcy bias will force people to think "this can't be happening" and continue on, business as usual, until it's too late.

Evil vs the rest of us.

I think, however, that entering the fight when the jack-boots are at your door with confiscation orders may just get you killed. Give them a bone and they will go away. The real source of tyranny is from those giving the orders from the top. Those are the most gutless and spineless; with a high priority on self-preservation. It would be easier to get them to focus on another issue if there was the very real possibility of permanant job loss.

The ultimate irony would be to deliver such an impeachment order via flint percussion.

Maybe it's just where I live or those I associate with but I believe this time around there will be more than 3% We won't even have to spend the time to raise and regulate a standing military. Some will follow illegal orders but most won't. There are patriots everywhere and in high command. They can't use the blue beanies because the few that managed to get to shore would be met by some mighty PO'd militia. I have faith and I don't think it is misplaced.

These days, there are few few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA, but at least so far, one thing remains: the right to bare arms and use deadly force to defend one's self and possessions.

This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, when we were free under the Tsar. Weapons, from swords and spears to pistols, rifles and shotguns were everywhere, common items. People carried them concealed, they carried them holstered. Fighting knives were a prominent part of many traditional attires and those little tubes criss crossing on the costumes of Cossacks and various Caucasian peoples? Well those are bullet holders for rifles.

Various armies, such as the Poles, during the Смута (Times of Troubles), or Napoleon, or the Germans even as the Tsarist state collapsed under the weight of WW1 and Wall Street monies, found that holding Russian lands was much much harder than taking them and taking was no easy walk in the park but a blood bath all its own. In holding, one faced an extremely well armed and aggressive population Hell bent on exterminating or driving out the aggressor.

This well armed population was what allowed the various White factions to rise up, no matter how disorganized politically and militarily they were in 1918 and wage a savage civil war against the Reds. It should be noted that many of these armies were armed peasants, villagers, farmers and merchants, protecting their own. If it had not been for Washington's clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently.

Moscow fell, for example, not from a lack of weapons to defend it, but from the lieing guile of the Reds. Ten thousand Reds took Moscow and were opposed only by some few hundreds of officer cadets and their instructors. Even then the battle was fierce and losses high. However, in the city alone, at that time, lived over 30,000 military officers (both active and retired), all with their own issued weapons and ammunition, plus tens of thousands of other citizens who were armed. The Soviets promised to leave them all alone if they did not intervene. They did not and for that were asked afterwards to come register themselves and their weapons: where they were promptly shot. [Option A above]

Of course being savages, murderers and liars does not mean being stupid and the Reds learned from their Civil War experience. One of the first things they did was to disarm the population. From that point, mass repression, mass arrests, mass deportations, mass murder, mass starvation were all a safe game for the powers that were. The worst they had to fear was a pitchfork in the guts or a knife in the back or the occasional hunting rifle. Not much for soldiers.

To this day, with the Soviet Union now dead 21 years, with a whole generation born and raised to adulthood without the SU, we are still denied our basic and traditional rights to self defense. Why? We are told that everyone would just start shooting each other and crime would be everywhere....but criminals are still armed and still murdering and to often, especially in the far regions, those criminals wear the uniforms of the police. The fact that everyone would start shooting is also laughable when statistics are examined.

While President Putin pushes through reforms, the local authorities, especially in our vast hinterland, do not feel they need to act like they work for the people. They do as they please, a tyrannical class who knows they have absolutely nothing to fear from a relatively unarmed population. This in turn breeds not respect but absolute contempt and often enough, criminal abuse.

For those of us fighting for our traditional rights, the US 2nd Amendment is a rare light in an ever darkening room. Governments will use the excuse of trying to protect the people from maniacs and crime, but are in reality, it is the bureaucrats protecting their power and position. In all cases where guns are banned, gun crime continues and often increases. As for maniacs, be it nuts with cars (NYC, Chapel Hill NC), swords (Japan), knives (China) or home made bombs (everywhere), insane people strike. They throw acid (Pakistan, UK), they throw fire bombs (France), they attack. What is worse, is, that the best way to stop a maniac is not psychology or jail or "talking to them", it is a bullet in the head, that is why they are a maniac, because they are incapable of living in reality or stopping themselves.

The excuse that people will start shooting each other is also plain and silly. So it is our politicians saying that our society is full of incapable adolescents who can never be trusted? Then, please explain how we can trust them or the police, who themselves grew up and came from the same culture?

No it is about power and a total power over the people. There is a lot of desire to bad mouth the Tsar, particularly by the Communists, who claim he was a tyrant, and yet under him we were armed and under the progressives disarmed. Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives, leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question. They hate guns in those whom they have slated for a barrel to the back of the ear.

So, do not fall for the false promises and do not extinguish the light that is left to allow humanity a measure of self respect.

"Rattling sabers" is just that--possibly empty threats. Teddy had a good idea--speak softly and carry a "d-----" big stick. When words fail then there is only force. Let's hope it never comes to that point because it will be rough on all. There are "die hards" who will sacrifice themselves with the "from my cold dead hands", some will flee to "fight another day" , and some will go on the offensive. The majority will cower, whine, and go along with orders. Just like always. I am of the opinion that to be in the way of a juggernaut is foolish. Had a bully who used to beat me up till I out maneuvered him. Beat his face up badly but did little physical damage. He never messed with me again. Fear is a powerful deterrent to oppression. Long as we have our "squirrel rifles" the countries constitution is safe. Once confiscated we become virtual slaves---so, do we stand, flee, or fight---IMO those are the only three options.

Gunny Highway Hard Work and Sacrifice blessed by God's Grace

One of my most cherished possessions given to me by a dear friend now gone from this earth is a page from an old military manual. This friend served this country in 3 wars serving over 30 years in the US Military. The page is a drawing of a man with hands bound behind his back.

Superimposed over this picture are the words " Resistance to Tyrants is Obedience to God " - Thomas Jefferson

This sums it all up to me. We have a moral obligation, to ourselves and our fellow man, to decry, defame, resist and defy all those that attempt to steal our liberties and freedoms. Whether they do so forcefully or more likely by use of misinformation, deceit, guile, outright lies and propaganda.

Usually those doing so are the biggest hypocrites walking the earth ( e.g. California Senator Feinstein gun stance and her own concealed issue permits and bodyguards, Millionaire New York Mayor Bloomberg's staunch anti gun stance with a zero tolerance for guns in a crime ridden city while being surrounded by armed security on a constant basis etc ). They are the worst of scum - they are elitists. Their prevailing and defining view that they are better than you and I simply because they are couldn't be further from our Constitutional principals.

The slow insidious erosion of our rights has gone on for years. As each set piece of the socialist Agenda is put into place, the next rears its ugly head but is given a social makeover by the Nanny State to appear as if it is for our own good as if you and I don't know what is best for us and for our lives.

The surrender of personal liberties in the name of safety is wrong on a multitude of levels and was noted by the Framers of the Constitution as well as others as a prequel to Tyranny. The Founding Fathers were also British Citizens and tried for years to reconcile and resolve their differences with Mother England peacefully through every means at their disposal. It was only after every other avenue had been traveled that they came to that most difficult of decisions. We should never stop trying to participate in legislative affairs of our country. We all have a voice and our elected officials need to always remember that they are there to represent all of us and make our voices heard through their votes/actions.

I urge all of you to never stop decrying all that is going on - continue to rail against the loss of freedoms without ceasing - since I know that evil never sleeps and works constantly to gain the upper hand. They won't stop till they have taken all your Rights away. It all starts with knocking down the 2nd Amendment. The rest may not go with a whimper after it goes but you can yell as loud as you want for Free Speech, Unreasonable Search and Seizure etc and it will make no difference since you will be unable to resist without arms. Make all the noise you want on the ride to your new home at the labor camp since the govt has the power to Nationalize your ammo, food, water, energy ( yes its truly specific in regards to all that it can do) and indeed the very talent you possess in your body ( see Sec. of Labor section ) ( of course its for National Defense..... Executive Order -- National Defense Resources Preparedness | The White House

WAYYYYYYYYY SCARIER THAN ANY HORROR MOVIE

The 2nd Amendment was put in place by the Founding Fathers to prevent and oppose tyranny. They knew the evils / temptations that Government can fall victim to and they sought to prevent it and preserve a free society.

On a up note - I wish all of my fellow Monkeys, a Blessed and Prosperous 2013 !

The Brits learned about those squirrel rifles, and the "rebels" learned to snipe from ambush. Juggernauts are useless, unless the target is trapped. Just like in martial arts, it is better to deflect your opponent's strike than to oppose it, let him waste his efforts in the wrong direction, and strike back while he is off balance. That's what diversions, phantom forces, noise makers, decoys, and flanking maneuvers, are all about.

What you’ll see in the rebellion « Bob Owens
What you’ll see in the rebellion

    Written By: Bob - Dec• 28•12

Let me explain, gun grabbers, how your confiscatory fantasy plays out. Let us imagine for a moment that a sweeping gun control bill similar to the one currently suggested is passed by the House and Senate, and signed into law by a contemptuous President.

Perhaps 50-100 million firearms currently owned by law-abiding citizens will become contraband with the stroke of a pen. Citizens will either register their firearms, or turn them in to agents of the federal government, or risk becoming criminals themselves. Faced with this choice, millions will indeed register their arms. Perhaps as many will claim they’ve sold their arms, or had them stolen. Suppose that as many as 200-250 million weapons of other types will go unregistered.

Tens of millions of Americans will refuse to comply with an order that is clearly a violation of the explicit intent of the Second Amendment. Among the most ardent opposing these measures will be military veterans, active duty servicemen, and local law enforcement officers. Many of these individuals will refuse to carry out what they view as Constitutionally illegal orders. Perhaps 40-50 million citizens will view such a law as treason. Perhaps ten percent of those, 4-5 million, would support a rebellion in some way, and maybe 40,000-100,000 Americans will form small independently-functioning active resistance cells, or become lone-wolves.

They will be leaderless, stateless, difficult to track, and considering the number of military veterans that would likely be among their number, extremely skilled at sabotage, assassination, and ambush.

After a number of carefully-planned, highly-publicized, and successful raids by the government, one or more will invariably end “badly.” Whether innocents are gunned down, a city block is burned to ash, or especially fierce resistance leads to a disastrously failed raid doesn’t particularly matter. What matters is that when illusion of the government’s invincibility and infallibility is broken, the hunters will become the hunted.

Unnamed citizens and federal agents will be the first to die, and they will die by the dozens and maybe hundreds, but famous politicians will soon join them in a spate of revenge killings, many of which will go unsolved.

Ironically, while the gun grab was intended to keep citizens from preserving their liberties with medium-powered weapons, it completely ignored the longer-ranged rifles perfect for shooting at ranges far beyond what a security detail can protect, and suppressed .22LR weapons proven deadly in urban sniping in Europe and Asia.

While the Secret Service will be able to protect the President in the White House, he will not dare leave his gilded cage except in carefully controlled circumstances. Even then he will be forced to move like a criminal. He will never be seen outdoors in public again. Not in this country.

The 535 members of the House and Senate in both parties that allowed such a law to pass would largely be on their own; the Secret Service is too small to protect all of them and their families, the Capitol Police too unskilled, and competent private security not particularly interested in working against their own best interests at any price. The elites will be steadily whittled down, and if they can not be reached directly, the targets will become their staffers, spouses, children, and grandchildren. Grandstanding media figures loyal to the regime would die in droves, executed as enemies of the Republic.
You can expect congressional staffs to disintegrate with just a few shootings, and expect elected officials themselves to resign well before a quarter of their number are eliminated, leaving us with a boxed-in executive, his cabinet loyalists trapped in the same win, die, or flee the country circumstance, military regime loyalists, and whatever State Governors who desire to risk their necks as well.

Here, the President will doubtlessly order the activation of National Guard units and the regular military to impose martial law, setting the largest and most powerful military in the world against its own people. Unfortunately, the tighter the President clinches his tyrannical fist, the more rebels he makes.

Military commands and federal agencies will be whittled down as servicemen and agents will desert or defect. Some may leave as individuals, others may join the Rebellion in squad and larger-sized units with all their weapons, tactics, skills, and insider intelligence. The regime will be unable to trust its own people, and because they cannot trust them, they will lose more in a vicious cycle of collapse.
Some of these defectors will be true “operators,” with the skills and background to turn ragtag militia cells into the kind of forces that decimate loyalist troops, allowing them no rest and no respite, striking them when they are away from their most potent weapons. Military vehicles are formidable, but they are thirsty beasts, in terms of fuel, ammo, time, and maintenance. Tanks and bombers are formidable only when they have gas, guns, and can be maintained. In a war without a front, logistics are incredibly easy to destroy, and mechanics and supply clerks are not particularly adept at defending themselves.

Eventually, the government will turn upon itself. The President will be captured or perhaps killed by his own protectors. A dictatorship will form in the vacuum.

If we’re lucky, the United States of America, or whatever amalgam results, will again try to rebuild. If we’re very lucky, the victors will reinstate the Constitution as the law of the land. Just as likely though, we’ll face fractious civil wars fought over issues we’ve not begun to fathom, and a much diminished state or states will result, perhaps guided by foreign interests.
It will not be pretty. There will be no “winners,” and perhaps hundreds of thousands to millions of dead.

Yet, this is the future we face if the power-mad among us are not soundly defeated at the ballot box before they affect more “change” than we, the People, are willing to surrender to would-be tyrants.
