Anyone live in North Hollywood and interested in connecting?

    I'm tired of being the only one I know of in my area. I'm not asking for help that I don't deserve, I'm just asking for someone local to talk to, and maybe let them know when I find something good in the area.

    Given the reality of OPSEC, you might invite a conversation from anyone interested, then keep an eye on your inbox. Suggest a neutral meeting place and time (say Starbucks at xxxx hour on such and such a day.) Get there early. On leaving, let them go first, change hats, and watch your rear view mirror on the way home. A few left turns in traffic should show up a tail. That's if you have reservations after talking for a few minutes, of course.

    OR, get yourself setup with a SECURE Phone, on MonkeyNet, and just get yourself close to the Meet site... then wait till 10 minutes BEFORE the Meet Time, and connect with the other Monkey, using the MonkeyNet Setup, on the SECURE Phones, and then decide, where exactly to meet up..... Makes it that much more improbable of a Observed FaceMeet, by outsiders..... or the Watchers.... Melbo and I have never meet, as of yet, but we had a SECURE Conversation, last Fall, as I was driving by, on the I-90 Freeway, near his Workplace. Worked very well, and If I had had the time we could have met, easily..... ..... YMMV...

    I have a friend up N of San Fran & for years I have been trying to get her to at least get a bag together in case of earthquake. Finally she declared last month she is putting together a just in case cache. I think preparedness is catching on.

    Unfortunately, I use translucent dice, so no loading them. I usually just use my gamemastering perogative and pad the rolls. Real life doesn't work like that, darn it.

    They could still be loaded with small amounts of lead, in the paint of the numbers, or with iron filings and an electro-magnet.

    Trust me, if I use lead on them, they will not be around to argue about it....:D However, iron filing mixed with the paint of the dots, will be influenced by a strong electromagnet. To roll snake eyes all day with a pair of Icosahedron you would load the 20's.;)
