not mentioned before ..... lots of communities have detail mapping of current criminal activity available online .... also most give locations of sexual offenders/child molesters ..... never a bad idea to use all the tools and gather that intel ....

 

To a point my preps include other folks stuff that I dont particularly know.... not in terms of takeing it but for example I have no need of a horse at present but if its TEOTWAWKI I do know which neighbors have several horses and would likely pay them a visit to see if they needed some help getting their place up to snuff for the new world in return for a horse or maybe had some brass I could reload for one. In short I try to be sure Im aware of who has what around me since if they have more than they would likely need (30-40 horses in the pasture and no cattle to run) its likely we may be able to do some tradeing, if they have nothing then its likely they will be hungry and desperate. Mental notes are a good thing. If it comes to takeing from others, well then I figure that just means its likely those doing the taking wont be a problem to anyone for very long.
