Very nice Bt- stainless barrell. I assume you keep that hanging for bears at the door- if so what load are you carrying for the threat?
It has a Low Base #9 in the chamber, and then 00 Buck & Slugs, Alternating thru the Tube Mag. This loading lets me dust off the Butt of a Bear, or 2 Legged Critter, without being accused of being "Too bloodthirsty", and then bring REAL FirePower to bear, if it is required.
I keep mine full of 00. I used to run bird shot so the wife could still shoot it but now that we have an AR, she can shoot that without having to worry(she has a VERY bad shoulder)

Here's my Remington 870, bought new in about 1995. Had a side-folder on it, but it kicked too much. Put the OEM wood stock back on, and repainted. It's got the 20 inch shortened barrel, 8-round tube (NY Illegal!), Side Saddle shell holder, front PG slide (Gotta order a new non-PG unit), bolt-on 'rifle sights', Minimag FL with endcap pushbutton switch. She'll put three slugs inside 2 inches at 30 yards, with the straight cylinder bore. Stillneed to reinstall "The Shoulder Thing That Goes Up" to make it the truly awesome and devastating Tacticool Assault Weapon that will realy throw a kink into the Libtarded one's frill panties.
