Gas jumped from 3.39 to 3.53 from Monday to today.... I wonder why.

 

$3.34 here today. Ohio.

 

Yikes $3.59 here...creeping up for the Labor Day driving season looks like.

 

Just wait Kellory... this stuff seems to move with the jet stream. Fill up now cause next week it will probably jump.

Yeah this is usually the most expensive time of year. The true test will be how low it goes come the end of Sept when everybody is back in school and travel calms back down. If it goes down...

That seems to be the way it's been going this past decade. It was only the beginning of 2002 that I was paying .99/g down in southern WY. I think the new low up in south central MT was about 2.4x/g before last years series of hikes. I'm guessing this next year 2.9x/g will be our new low. And it will continue to creep up year by year.

I am bumping this thread because I like to look back and look at the dates and what we were all paying for around the country. With a barrel of oil trading below $40 now this will have an impact. I noticed as soon as oil fell below $40, a refinery went down because it broke. I heard today that the Northern part of the Midwest is headed towards $4 gas but that could be a rumor. I also heard that CA is cheaper then CO, could be another rumor.

I paid $2.65 for gas today.

 

$2.21 here

 

Was in Amarillo over the weekend and gas running $2.14 to $2.39 depending on where you go. Diesel anywhere from $2.19 to $2.49.

 

Just dropped to $2.09 here...down the road it is @ $1.97

 

$2.55 gal. Cheapest in town.

Diesel is same price.
