In a nutshell. My wife and I took a couple hours and read some of the actual bill, It's nothing short of scary. Their is so much vague language and open ended terminology, it's no wonder people can get their heads around it.
Most of it says to be determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services, we all know how well her work turned out so far.
there is a lot of stuff that was passed that gave sweeping powers to DHS and Fema as well hidden in a lot of portions.
    • So what do we know so far, If you don't have Health Care, it's illegal!
    • We've been lied to, and are still being lied to about whats in it!
    • Your healthcare if it hasn't already been cancelled will be in 2014, for at Least 129,000,000 and that's the latest estimate based on the lies that have been told so far.
    • If you sign up on the Govn. website your personal info. will most likely be stolen and misused, however this doesn't really matter, because when you sign it, it say's that you have NO EXPECTATIONS of privacy, concerning your personal data, and it can be shared or given to any agency upon request ,State, Local, or Federal!!
    • You will have to pay 2-300% more for the insurance(if your lucky) but your deductible will be so outrageous, you will not be able to use it because the deductible is so high it would bankrupt you! However, you must still pay your premium, because it's illegal if you don't!
    • We also were never told, that they would drop thousands of doctors from the roles, or that entire Institutions would opt out, and refuse to accept your mandatory insurance policy, at a time when they are saying they need more Doctors to make it work!
    • They still haven't said anything about the $225 million dollars per year, supplied for home visits. The language is VERY, Vague and Ominous!
    • They still have said nothing about how their going to enforce penalties on people who refuse to sign up at all and avoid paying the penalties. It's a progressive penalty, so what are they going to do. Debtors prison?
This is a very troubling situation for American's, maybe not for the Government Vampires that suck the life out of the Working class, but for the middle class, get ready to be knocked down to Lower Class Status, until everyone is forced into the Government sub-sistency programs and all checks will be issued by Uncle Sam!

The IRS will be the collecting agency. No lie, it's true. Welcome to the New World...we will never go back to the old one.

The best is yet to come.
Watch all those with employer healthcare.
You thought previous days annual healthcare increase of 15 to 20 percent annually were brutal.
We had a pow-wow with 4 different insurance brokers in the past month, they are saying 2014 will be about normal, but added compliance costs and mandates will probably double our costs in 2015

yup. And they can garnish your wages, too. Penalties for first year without insurance is pretty low, but after that it gets pretty steep. It's a forced tax, through and through. The IRS is the obvious collector.

I'll be watching for "retirement" notices from IRS agents in the Sunday New York Times.

We had to modify our business policy for next year, but 2015 when business's lose their exemption will tell the true tale on how bad it will get as far as folks losing policies. I suspect that it will get delayed once more to get thru the presidential elections to hide the true impact. If not, the dem's will be hammered in the elections, and they know that to be fact.

To inform the targeted audience that health care will cost them would be counter productive to their goals.. The "targeted audience" look to mass media only for their information..

If you don't mean $720 a month, it's practically free! We pay $400 a month right now with a $1,500.00 deductible, closest comparable's gonna be a $6,000 or more deductible and over $800 a month premium. That's if they can get these healthy young people to sign up for it, Which their not so far, and they don't sound like their going to change their minds anytime soon. that's why they put off the premiums for 2015 till after the elections next year, people will rise up when you tell them they HAVE TO PAY exorbant(?) amounts of money for something that will not even cover them, except maybe in case of a catastrophic illness, and only if a panel of bureaucrats thinks your worth the investment, But Give us time WE"LL GET BACK TO YOU!! Meanwhile you die from your disease while your waiting, SEE THAT WORKED OUT WELL!!
This thing is imploding, it was a conspiracy to defraud the American People from the very conception and an intentional move to destabalize the economy in a way that was irreparably, which I believe the real agenda.
NOBODY COULD SCREW SOMETHING UP THIS BAD BY ACCIDENT!!![cow]

A year? Dude, I pay that in just 5 weeks, and my employer can write off their half of the bill. To me, that's almost free.

I'm sure that bill was inflated to the max that the provider thought the ins co would pay, and did NOT reflect the actual service provided. (But I get the idea ---.)
