    What privileges should be rights?

They aren't even comparable. A right already exists where a privilege can be assigned. Let me use an example to show you what I mean. It's the same example Michael Badnarik uses in his Constitution Class.

I own a piece of land. You are a neighbor who wants to pass through on Tuesdays. You must first ask permission to use my land. I don't have to grant you permission. Let's say I do. I tell you on Tuesdays you may pass through my land. This is a privilege. It is a privilege for YOU to use MY land. I can revoke that privilege any time I choose. It is MY land.

A right is inalienable, and cannot be taken away or assigned.

We do have many "privileges" these days, but all they can be is privileges. They can be taken away by the issuing party, some like to call "issuing authority". It is called an "authority" improperly because we assume power is vested in those issuing the privilege. The People created its servant government. The government tricks sovereign people into applying for licensing privilege to operate. All licensing 'authority' can be derived from the Trading With The Enemy Act of 1917, as amended by Presidential Proclamation #2038, #2039, #2040 of March 6-9, 1933 by Franklin D. Roosevelt under the Emergency of War Power later conferred by Congress and made law by USCA Title 12, Section 95(b). Essentially, Congress made the President a dictator and the Emergency of War under the law of necessity, nullified the Constitution, or placed it on "hold status". The Trading With The Enemy Act originally stated (quite clearly) that all enemies of the United States were to be licensed and regulated accordingly, but specifically noted EXCEPT CITIZENS of THE UNITED STATES. However, with careful trickery, FDR and his banking henchmen used footnote tactics*** to essentially get the legislation passed to amend the Act to INCLUDE all Citizens of the United States. That means, we are subject to be licensed and regulated --just like enemies, by any LAW according to the current legislation.

@Brokor that's some useful info on the history, so if we own the land why should we pay rent in the form of taxes

Our government is becoming more open about their owner ship of all lands, waters, air and mineral and regulating and licensing them to death

Precisely. Perhaps because if we do not pay the mafia their tax, they come with an army and kill us? We could acquiesce and go to jail, too. That's always fun.

Don't get me wrong, some local taxes can be good, just as long as they are "opt-out" policies. They pay for schools sometimes, perhaps roads...but lately, local and state governments have opted to continue to tax citizens and accept federal payments, rake in a massive profit, hide the funds in the CAFR and then claim to have a deficit and raise taxes more. There is no legitimate government any longer, and as far as land ownership is concerned, except for small portions of Texas, I don't think an actual titled sale of property can be easily obtained. Therefore, all land ownership resides with the State and you are, in fact paying rent in the form of taxation.

You may hold a "certificate" of title. That's not the allodial title. The same applies to your automobile. You do not have the MSO (manufacturers statement of origin), you hold the CERTIFICATE OF TITLE, which is a piece of paper stating the actual owner holds the TITLE and your CERTIFICATE authorizes you to use that property. The dealership sends the MSO to the State, who places it on file digitally (used to be on microfiche) and then destroys the MSO. They issue you a CERTIFICATE, and begin to tax and license you accordingly. You must REGISTER the vehicle you call your own, which is a method of APPLYING for a privilege. You must be LICENSED to OPERATE A MOTOR VEHICLE (not travel freely), and agree to abide by all LAWS and POLICIES of implied privileges. This PRIVILEGE is revocable and can be regulated by the issuing 'authority'.

We have to pay rent on the roads so that the landlords can maintain them, we have to pay for education so they can teach them to obey the landlord and continue to pay as the next generation. It would be an amazing act if everyone one all at one time not buy anything just for 12 hours man that would be cool

Just pull all of your money out of the banks. Everybody.

Yeah, we also must ask for permission from the King to use his land for hunting and recreation. So many people have no idea how the laws of England have been brought over to our own lands. It's sad, really.

Privilege. You could simply live a more healthy lifestyle, and not even need healthcare, but for major medical.
Those without coverage are not allowed to be turned away at hospitals, even if they can not pay. This is completely WITHOUT obamacare.

Most of your health issues are in your own hands.

It should stay that way, to just give it to all is like making it a right, it is the same thing as travel, your have a right to travel but it is a privilege to do so by automobile

Or to travel over my land. That requires my permission. So if the roads are state property, then it should require state permission to use them.
If not, then ask for permission from every property owner who's property you want to drive on (in place of a state owned road).

The problem comes up when people claim "well, I AM the State, therefore, why should I ask myself?" Because you are not me, and I am the state too.

Healthcare is not a right and you shouldn't be forced to buy it

No, we are paying for rules. Doctors have been practicing as long as there have been people in need.

If it is a Right, then it is mine already.

True. Raises an interesting question, then. If it's already yours, then why do you need to pay for it when you (say) break a leg? And if you don't, then who will? Clearly, healthcare is NOT a Right, nor are clean air and clean water. One needs to provide for one's self, as do all other homo sapiens on the planet.

Very true but you used to be able to pay for your services without money. Doc fixes my arm and I will pay him with 3 chickens. I think it worked better. But I no longer have the right to choose how I pay my doctor, nor is the doctor allowed to take payments in forms he chooses. The gov't certainly isn't going to accept a chicken for their cut of services performed.
