    Yes, but they are still an American company and the boots made overseas cannot be made in the U.S. simply because we do not possess the machinery/technology to do it. The boots I mention are the solid weld style FTX type boots, with the shank literally heat welded to the sole in one piece. If they could make them in the U.S, Danner would do so. However, because these boots wear out quickly and are not the sewn/stitched sole variety, Danner cannot carry the same guarantee. This is simply because they can't repair them. Danner is a fantastic company, and I will always be a loyal customer. And, it's not the flag which tells you they are warrantied, it's the type of construction. If Danner is able to fix it, they will. Sewn sole construction for the win. But, don't take my word for it...
