    UncleMorgan I like peeling bananas and (occasionally) people.

    When planning risky endeavors fraught with peril, I try to figure out the ten or twenty most likely ways I could die in the process, and make preparations against each one of them.

    Could be carry more water, or ammo, or food. Or set up a few cache sites. Or call a friend. Could be anything.

    That way, I figure I'll either get through it alive, or I never had a freakin' chance in the first place.

    I always have more packed than I end up using. When I pack for my hunting trips, we never use more than half of what I brought.....but we never know which half will be needed, until it is.

    :lol: Yeah, but I lived there for a while and can see the differences --. More or less, anyway.
    That said, anyone that thinks they understand strategy and tactics needs to read Sun Tzu.
