    Indeed it is. Backcountry also has an app for Android where you can save your maps on the phone for when you don't have cell coverage.

    Also, at least one of the map sections (mine) is over 10 years out of date. Check what you get for accuracy before you need to use it.

    :5s:@Dunerunner the map I pulled listed a spring and a well in less populated areas. I will have to go exploring.

    This was a nice find @Dunerunner

    And the Backcountry app is very good ty @techsar it is one of the most seemless easy to operate topos that I have seen

    I believe you can although I haven't done it yet. It would be a good tool for hunting or mapping a bug out route or BOL.

    Played with this yesterday and you can select to print as a PDF or JPEG after you have enlarged (zoomed) to your desired location. The function produces a red rectangle that can be expanded to include the areas of the map you want to print (save). Make sure you use the drop down menu to select Jpeg as it defaults to PDF. For some reason, my saved as a .png, but I opened it in Paint and saved it as a .jpg format.
