Found this forum when searching for more information on a book I am reading. I have looked at several other "survival" forums before and this one seems to have a great community of members that aren't out to prove they are the most informed on any subject.
It's surprising the range and depth of knowledge to be found here on just about any subject...just don't get any tinfoil between your teeth... Welcome to SM Malik....your own thoughtful contributions are welcomed. Familiarising yourself with these two pages would be much appreciated: The Original Intent of this Forum | Survival Monkey Forums and Resource - Site Rules | Code of Conduct | Survival Monkey Forums You may find this section handy in navigating your way about the site...Did You Know? Enjoy your stay here....just don't mention Hillary or Obama...it just makes the local residents tetchy!
Actually our forum is the best informed one of them all, we just don't want to embarrass all the other amateur survival forums by exposing how they copy all our stuff. Glad to have you!
Welcome to Survival Monkey @Malikont. You are correct, we are not know it alls and questions are good. Glad you found us, enjoy. PS- who is that character in your avatar? It looks like a green Patrick Star.
That would be Sergeant Schlock from Schlock Mercenary. Read it every day. Schlock Mercenary - The Comic Space Opera by Howard Tayler Schlock Mercenary - Wikipedia
Welcome, the biggest advantage of the forum is its Chinese menu approach which allows you to pick and chose the information you wish to understand. The depth and range of information in the resources and archives will allow you to learn as much or little about survival as you wish at what ever rate you wish. I have found the fellow members to be very patient, forgiving, and to have access to great amounts of information and a willingness to share it.
It's not that Schultz knew nothing...he just wouldn't admit to knowing what he did know. I think he was an early devotee of the principle of plausible deniability. Don't mind chimo and me, Mal....we are inseparable apparently.
