I grew up poor so I used to make clothes pin dolls. It was actually fun and creative. Usually I would make the clothes-pin doll a dress from scrap material but if I didn’t have material, I would draw on tissue or paper towel and make clothes that way.

In an emergency, you can use pipe cleaners as shoe laces. Just make sure you thread the pipe cleaner tightly and twist at the top. It works.

Use a coffee filter in the bottom of your flower pots. Often when planting, the holes at the bottom of the pot are really big and the dirt and rocks fall out. It works amazing, the water drains and can be absorbed back up and not dirt falls out.

Bounce Dryer sheets are wonderful things that make life smell good. They are probably really toxic but they are great for dusting. Used dryer sheets can be used dust off nearly any surface, including furniture, computer/tv, blinds, car interiors, baseboards/ molding. Plus if you have smelly shoes, put a dryer sheet in them. And if you hair is full of static, rub a Bounce sheet on your head.

A cat ran over about 200 times on an Alabama highway in August will make good sail-cat frisby!

UncleMorgan I like peeling bananas and (occasionally) people.

Old junky dead worthless ugly obsolete golf clubs from thrift stores at a buck apiece can be made into
    1) Superb garden stakes: Just cut off the head.
    2) Magnet picker-uppers: Just add a magnet.
    3) Spike stick picker-uppers: Just add an old nail.
    4) Doggie/cat dish handles, so you don't have to bend over every time you feed the pet: Just bolt them on.
    5) Bonfire lighters: Lightly attach a bunch of rags strips, douse with charcoal lighter, ignite, and stuff the flaming torch head right into the heart of your burn pile. Then pull the empty handle back out for reuse. That's an alternate use for a spike stick, too.
    6) Instant atlatl: just cut to length and add a spike. Very comfy, très techno. I use a bent nail, hot-glued in the hollow end.

I could go on, but I'm out of golf clubs...

Clothes hangers to me are useful for many things, I have a huge collection of them as we are required to wear uniforms that are fire retardant, too many uses to mention
