Knowing how I like brownies I thought I'd go off the chart and purchase a can.
Expensive for sure and being sold by the ounce meant I had not a clue about the price per brownie.
These ARE NOT the old MRE coated brownies that left an after taste in your mouth for hours, mostly because of the waxy tropical coating.

They are extremely rich and tough, this is to be expected for the label list some high quality nutrients and they are freeze dried.

With a bit of time on my hands I experimented with ONE. I soaked it in a tray of water expecting it to fall apart, after 30 minutes it was mildly softened, another 30 minutes and I drained the Brownie.

I waited another hour for the moisture to equalize, then I heated it a mere 10 seconds in the microwave and it sizzled like a steak.

Took a bite and it was the most delicious brownie I ever had!

    High protein and high calories.

    At only $3.20 each!!!!!

Doesn't matter now as I have them and will enjoy them when I get a craving for a chocolate brownie.

Labels simply say soak in the liquid of your choice.
I would imagine the Army cooks get a bit more information.
I will add that using a 1/4" Titanium drill and less water provides better results and less mess.
In this use less than 1/8 jigger of hot water in a muffin tin and drill the top hole halfway down and do not flip, fill the center and top hole of Brownie with water.
You'll cut time to about 20minutes and the center will be soft.

or Bourbon or Scotch or any other adult beverage.
The easiest way I have found so far is to just set the re-hydrated brownie in the Fridge about 4 days Heat for15 seconds and enjoy.

As a side note, My thanks for those who programmed the spellcheckers.
As Agent Orange's effects continue to worsen the nerve damage increases and I no longer trust my touch typing, or maybe I just need a new 'puter.

Ah well it's nice to be able to be awake, you gotta take the bad with the good.
