Yet Another Stimulus Check?

We got a letter yesterday from D.C. saying there is another round of stimulus checks for $1400 per person coming in the next couple of weeks. Did anyone hear anything about this?

 

Nah,I said, no thanks, I got enough money for all my needs!

A little update. The notice date was April 15, 2021. We got our last checks March 17. Guess I'll find out in a couple of weeks.

 

I figure that if i'm going to have to pay for it later, they better be sending me the money.
Just imagine having to pay for something you never got.

 

I just want my tax return. It has been over 2 months.

 

Oh, like welfare, food stamps, high quality schools for my children, well maintained roads....

 

Nothing has come through any official channels on an addition payout...unless you/they missed a child or dependent on the previous giveaways.

Getting damned old waiting for money I unintentionally over paid. Probably going to trigger a audit after decades of getting $100 back or owing $100. Due to several large purchases last year for the business and depreciation they owe me $16,700 back this year that I over paid.

ANd on a side note what is this stimulus ya'll speak of........ sounds like some dark leftist numerical sorcery to me

 

I got this notice dated April 19, 2021, and it looks identical to a notice I got a month ago. Another 'Look what I've done for you" notice. "Postage and Fees Paid Internal Revenue Service PERMIT NO. G-48."

Does this not look like somebody patting themself on the back? What's the paper, ink, design, printing, processing and shipping cost of this exercise?

Trump could've gotten the word out in a Tweet... at no cost to the taxpayer.

 

You sound like me... no stimulus in my house. They are probably using my tax return and yours to help fund the free money giveaway.

 

Got lucky didn't owe or get a refund this year - broke even.
Maybe that's the way to go from now on.
I'll be surprised if they just don't keep those refunds.
We know who is running the government now, your money belongs to them.

 

At my age all the stimulus I get is apricated.
On a side note,Them fockers taxed my S.Security for 2020, Them fockers have been sitting on my money for years and years making money on it and still have the nerve to tax me once again?
Hows about a reduction in taxes for some real stimulus?

 

Reduce taxes? Not this bunch. Heck the turds raised my property value assessment by $60k.

 

All (real) property (politics) is local. Cannot blame bidumb for that, at least not directly. That does NOT affect your bottom line, the taxes are going up from whatever "authority" is holding the whip.

 

Which brings in a questions for Texans, I understand if someone is over 65 no property taxes in some county's ?

 

Here in SC we have seen explosive growth people moving in from the NE now one would think with an expanding tax base the need to raise my property taxes would not be required ( they should go down). Yet every year they go up. No one can give be a sane explanation for this.
