NEVER AGAIN! The scariest thing that I can think of is Israel losing a war. With their backs to the sea, nowhere to go and nothing to lose there is no power on Earth that could stop them. Even the ape-shit crazies like Hamas, the PLO and Iran know that you can only push Israel so far. As for the major powers, I bet that several Israeli embassies around the world have nukes in their basements for the day that they sell-out Israel.
What really chaps the world's collective ass, is the fact that NO power has ANY control over this nuclear arsenal or its use! Not the USA, Russia or China! That is what they don't like and that scares them!

 

Like them or not, they will never walk into gas chambers again. They threatened to use them in 1973.
There is no control over any nuke power, china, Russia, Pakistan, India, Israel, Britain, France little rocket man.....soon Iran and then the Saudis...next???

 

Hell, they might as well start selling them at Dollar Tree and Dollar General!

 

The Arabs threatened to cut-off our oil, and the USA was prepared to abandon Israel! Then the Israelis reminded Washington that they had the power to cut-off the oil PERMANTLY!! The West wisely re-supplied Israel, the IDF was able to mobilize its forces and drive back the Arab armies, a peace plan was negotiated, and everything returned to normal (normal being a relative term in the Middle East). The Arabs did carry through with their threat to cut-off US oil sales, but as soon as the price of oil increased the oil began to flow again, and the US diversified its foreign oil purchases so that we now get less of our oil from Arab sources.

 

For decades under, R's & D's most of the oil from Alaska has gone to Asia.

There are refineries in Washington and California? I though those were forced to closed years ago! I remember when most of the oil from Alaska went to Asia because there were so few refineries on the Left Coast! I guess that the decrease in oil production from 2 million barrels a day to 500,000 barrels a day (and sometimes less) means that they can refine the majority of Alaskan oil. YEA!

 

About the Alaskan Oil fields and where and why that oil did not go to the mainland USA...

I recommend reading a book by a Minister named Lindsay Williams..., The Energy Non Crisis...... who was given Executive Status such that he could go anywhere along the pipeline to minister to the pipeline workers....and thus saving the oil companies/pipeline people a lot of monies and time in personnel problems and or issues. .In his pipeline ministry he learned from the workers and executives ...much about what was really going on with the pipeline and why someone did not want that pipeline completed and eventually wound up re routing that crude oil to Asia....anywhere but the USA.

As for The Sampson Option.....

I have heard something a bit different about it ....and I suspect that our own government does not want us to be capable of thinking this through sufficiently far...on our own...and without permission of "Experts.."

The Sampson Option of which I know..states and follows the Biblical story of Sampson being held prisoner of the Philistines..and with his last breadth...he pulled down the pillars and killed the Philistine leadership and himself included.

The Sampson Option of which I know ...is such that if Israel is overrun and cannot stop this...they will bring their enemies close into them ...and nuke everyone ...including themselves....they are not going into the camps again or to be slaughtered like in WW2.

I do not believe the Israelis are bluffing on this ...and I also believe our own government does not want us thinking this far on our own....and off script.
This means ...that if true...the Israelis have special trained teams ...on 24/7 alert to get these weapons ready to use.....on very very short notice...

And yes..I remember the Yom Kippur war..in the early 1970s......wherein Richard Nixon quickly rearmed Israel to go on the offensive after losing much early in this conflict. And I believe Israel was on the verge of bringing out ...readying to use their nuclear arsenal in the Sampson Option.

I remember this very much because at the time I was assigned to the 57th Fighter Interceptor Squadron in Keflavik, Iceland ....and we were in the process of converting from the olde F102 Delta Fighter Jets to the newer F4E model of the Phantom fighters and had received the mock up benches and the tech manuals and were in the process of setting up to ready for the arrival of our new planes.

What happened up there in Iceland back then was that overnight.....we were ordered to pack up our mock up benches and tech manuals ....they were shipping out the next day on a plane to Israel.
And so we did.

It was some time before we got in new mockups and tech manuals..but they were for an older model of the F4C Phantom fighters..not the latest F4E models.

Well...now to quote a famous figure from times past............."And now you know the rest of the story.!!"

Now...in further fleshing out The Sampson Option....I believe that what happened in Israel...a year or more ago...with the Hamas attacking those unarmed people celebrating a festiival.....I believe this brought to the forefront ...to the Israeli People....who know....the Sampson Option and what they will have to face if overrun.....

Remember too...what a terrible horrible weight or the knowledge on an Israeli leader tasked with carrying this Option out ...should events go awry.

The Israli army used to have some of their troops spend some time and give an oath at Masada. In grad school a good friend of mine was in the Israli paratroops, a captain, and disappeared for a while to serve in the I think 1967 war. He spoke of the feelings of standing symbolic guard on the walls of Masada. Other friends were children of holacast survivers and a few who were sent to relatives in the US before the war or after it. Some from Iseral. were here with relatives in order to get a better education. The Sampson option has one basic fact, we will die together if needed, never alone again. When your enemies state that they wish to kill all of you and do their best to do it in a piece by piece way , it makes some sort of weird sense.

I know that he was willing and proved the fact that he was willing to die for his country and at its call went from the safety of grad school to attacking Epyptian airbases. The following paragraphs are from PBS and show its fingerprints, but sorts out some of the biases of both sides and their long term efforts to rule the area of "their" homeland.
