I'm with ya here, I have made a startling discovery recently which leads me to believe were in serious trouble! Over the last two years, I have noticed Wild animals coming out of the woods, animals we don't normally see, and in numbers we would never see, this isn't normal at all, here in Oregon, we have had hundreds of bears, cougars, coyotes, wolves, and the rarest of all, wolverines, ALL being seen in unprecedented numbers, numbers we have never seen before, and this isn't including all the other animals, like deer and elk and others! On top of this, wales are showing up in numbers on our coast , numbers we haven't seen before, and the attacks on humans are growing daily, something they have never really done before! This isn't normal, I have talked with many folks I know and trust and the general opinions tend to run one of two possibilities, ether A) there is a serious environmental catastrophe on the brink and the animals are sensing it and trying to get away but not knowing which way to go, or 2) were looking at a biblical event, the breaking of the Second Seal, the beginnings of seriously bad things to come, and my own opinion, a combination of the two above ideas, where it's really as bad as it gets! I have no hard data points to share here, but you can dig around the Googleshpere and find the info yoursleves, it's all there and it's all true, and it's all leading up to something horrible in our near future!
The poles are shifting more rapidly than in the last 150 years, the magnetosphere is weakening thus allowing more radiation to bombard Earth, and animals that use it to navigate with are now going to different places. Things are changing and no one seems to care - and they should. Not that they can do anything about it, Bill Gates et al will get their wish about depopulation in the next 20 or so years. Just my 2¢
I believe many of these things that are discussed in the book of Revelation. I rely on the teachings of Christ as chronicled by Matthew 24:43/44 which states, "But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into" This tells me Christ is giving us warning to accept him and follow his path to redemption because when the thief breaks into your house you will not be ready and it will be too late. This is further affirmed to me in verse 44 which Christ states, " Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him" I also pay close attention to Matthew 24: 6/13 which states: "And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains." This is all in God's hands and time. We as a once God fearing nation have turned our backs on God. We as a nation will receive what we ask for. The best prep a person can do is accept Jesus and acknowledge we are all sinners and imperfect asking for God's Grace. Jesus also tells us to not worry (I believe once you are saved) as in detailed by Matthew 6: 25/34. So no matter what we see occurring or the destruction around us we as believers are saved. If one really wants to go back farther Psalm 91 reaffirms all of what is written in the New Testament. My God in Him I will trust!

People for the last 2000 ears have thought it is the last days connecting the dots. Jesus said it's the Fathers decision, not even the angels know. When I was young people gave me books on end times being at hand but the Holy Spirit guarded me from reading them saying," I will teach you what to do when the time comes." I am satisfied with that. I rely on the Holy Spirit's teaching daily.
Fuck it all. Burn it down, God. Please! I'm tired, old, and saved. I've met angels and received many blessings, as unworthy as I am as a person. But if all this is just natural disasters and human folly, I will fight with tooth, nail, knowledge and wisdom to get my tribe of civilized Americans as far as I can to be morally and spiritually sound cavemen of the new age.
It seems that those that spend time mapping the universe are discovering more and more that this earth may not have as much time as they previously assumed. Too many stray asteroids and such are potentially coming too close to the earth, one is estimated to pass lower than the moons path. There are things in the universe we see and things we can't see, never the less in spite of man's efforts this earth has an end, like it or not, God said so. There also is coming a time when God's mercy will end with man and judgment begins. God is not obligated to earth; the earth is obligated to Him. The fact that other living things are reacting to dramatic changes, shouldn't surprise us in the least. So far as the subject of eternal security, Jesus emphasized faithfulness required of his fallowers and issued a warning to those using Jesus name for their own purposes. Matthew 7;21,22,23, and those misleading others in false teachings. Calling Jesus Lord does not make it so, Doing what He instructs via the Holy Spirit Jesus alone provided proves His Lordship. Jesus reprimanded His disciples for this error. Jesus also said, a man putting his hand to the plough and looking back is unworthy of the kingdom. Love not the world nor anything in the world, if any man loves the world the love of the Father is not in him. Lot's wife was turned to a pillar of salt for the love of Sodom though she was lead by angels of God to leave Sodom and Gomorrah. Many Christians in "title" may discover the same fate loving the world more than loving God. Jesus said, " Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled." The idea of hungering and thirsting is continued desperation, not just the acknowledging the existence of a God, nor simply operating the power of Jesus name doing miracles. When I seek and fallow God's direction my life has meaning and zi am being trained to pay attention to the things god teaches me, not only for the present but for the future as well. When you understand that this life is a training station, it puts a whole new perspective on eternity. When you discover that God has your best interest at heart, live or die it's a win= win.
Personally, I think every shred of this type of thinking is from the auspices of mankind and not from God. I do not believe the creator would tell us to ignore this life but instead focus on an imaginary afterlife. This is where typical religious folks and I diverge, because one can be a Christian and truly live a good life without buying all the scripture at face value. The Council at Nicaea brought us hand-picked and crafted tales, but as far as I can tell -nothing that is substantially divine. We should think about the time in which these events allegedly occurred and remember the time period this was all cemented into a single volume for consumption. For millennia, every dictator and tyrant required an army to fight, suffer, and die for their cause without complaint. Naturally, it was wise to place emphasis on how undervalued this life should be compared to the one you could inherit after you die. That's really the only reason any of this type of nonsense is even written. Now this is about as clear and easy to digest as it needs to be, and I hold no argument. Yes, and this further adds to my point. Live life, this is your experience -enjoy it. We aren't here to suffer and then move on to some "better" place, sorry I don't mean to insult. While we are here, we learn from mistakes, we build communities and constantly improve ourselves...or we ought to. Whether there is a heaven or hell I will leave to the scholars and theologians to argue, as I simply wish to live and love and laugh and not be held to account by OTHER MEN wearing robes and pointing at me to do THEIR bidding. At some point, people should draw the conclusion that we either accept every piece of scripture as if it's holy and all the men involved throughout history who had any part in writing it and putting it together are wholly honest with pure intentions, or we've been lied to. None of this means there isn't a God, and none of this means you aren't a Christian if you believe Christ died for our sins and is the Son of God who ascended. In fact, I'm willing to bet we've been lied to and manipulated by clergy so much...most of what we think we know is just.. poop.
I agree with a lot of your assessment B. That is why I differentiate between faith and religion. They are not the same thing. Religion is a man made construct and being man made is subject to error, manipulation and fallacy. The institution guilty of the greatest mass murder in history is not the regimes of Stalin, Mao, or Pol Pot, but the Roman Catholic Church.
Grace is when God gives us good things we don't deserve. Mercy is when He spares us from bad things we deserve. Blessings are when He is generous with both.
There is a difference between religion and relationship. Man establishes religion, attempting to reach God. Jesus, via the Holy Spirit, provides a relationship with God. Till you become desperate to know God, you will not know Him.
So the missus and I went down to the coast and had a family vacation with most of the accessories and grandkids. We stayed a day later than the rest. The top of the radiator blew a huge crack in the top manifold/bottle/(I can't remember the actual name). No replacement was available for several days. I found a repair shop and dropped the 'Buru off until a part could come in. No surprises but Amazon could get me a new radiator delivered faster than his supply chain could produce one. A week later, I'm back down in the AO on Sunday so I can pick up my car and drop off a rental on Monday. My wife messaged the Gilbert at B.C. Car repair to tell him we would be ready tomorrow and he came down while the shop was closed and gave over the 'Buru. I pay a parts and labor charge of $103.00 and drove off. About 15 miles away the bottom radiator hose blew off and dumped all the coolant. So I call the owner of the shop and he asks if I can figure out was was needed and once told he dropped what he was doing and brought new coolant and a better clamp to hold the hose on. There's no reason to mess with us on Sunday at all, and then he stepped up twice. Three times if you count the cheap repair costs for the install. For the record, those pinch tension hose clamps are crap. That's why you do not see them in big industry.
