Unless I'm missing something I did a quick internet search and saw nothing of the sort.

Seen something today that said Starmer appointed some muzzie lady in charge of their borders and immigration.
Damned if that isn't a setup.

I was insulted, maligned and accused of "hate speech" on another forum (one based in the UK ) for pointing out the fact the British people have been disarmed by their government and cannot defend themselves. They are suffering from such cognitive dissonance, delusion and brainwashing, it's pitiful. Sadly, many Americans are this way, too. The same situation applies in Canuckistan as Maria 739 calls it, Australia, New Zealand and most other European countries.

I heard something about it on Fox News. It was just a short blurb and over.

It's the subject mentality that all governments, including our own, brainwash the populous into accepting through all means under their control - schools, media, universal healthcare, social programs, etc.. It's like a giant pendulum that swings between Citizen (Government fears The People) and Subject (The People fear the Government). It swing towards Subject when times are good and we get complacent, then back to Citizen typically as an uprising from Subjects who have finally had enough.

Love Trump or hate him, he has pushed the pendulum a long ways back towards the Citizen, though hardly all the way there without firing a single shot. We need his successor to be just as effective or all that ground will be quickly lost.

The UK Army is about 74,000 regulars plus about 4,000 Gurkhas with Army reserves at about 25,000 so definitely small, especially when compared to their population (69 million)...another case of NATO abuse on the US.

Just my opinion of course, but I think even a few well trained and armed divisions would be enough to give their government pause and force them to negotiate - I mean - the country is small. Of course, the key would be how many units would side with the people or with the government or remain neutral and if the government has the will to take it to the next level and shed blood knowing the consequences if they fail. It's the same here for once they pull the trigger, they lose control until the outcome. So, would they risk losing power, their freedom, possibly their lives if they lose? The Leftists here won't because they know they would lose and there goes everything it took decades (probably longer) to put in place. Purges after these events normally are quick and decisive, no 'due process.' Anyway, just my opinion...

Also, I don't think any revolution in history has won against its own government without the support of either its own military and/or foreign support, but I might be wrong there...but I can't think of any.

I read about it in the morning news but didn't hear they killed it...that is indeed good news. The fact that they even considered this should deeply disturb the people of Detroit...which I guess it does or they wouldn't have removed it.

Totally agree. I suppose it's human behavior to believe that one's government always operates within the law and in the people's best interest...we forget it's made up of people. I do think the Left pushed too hard and too fast which has caused the huge backlash starting with Trump's reelection. I do hope the people hold the course and continue to push the pendulum back towards the Citizen, their memory is so damn short. We'll know for certain come mid-term elections.

Islam is radical. Stating "radical islam" is erroneously trying to state that there is a non-radical version.

Not their new patch. It was an internal idea floated around. Cause an uproar in the community and in the department itself.
Chief and Mayor got a problem with everyone now that it got leaked.
and yes, we have a lot of muslims here in Michigan. Most of them hate terrorists and asylum seekers as they spent a shit ton of money and time to get citizenship legally. Some of these folks are more American Patriotic than the native born black folk in Inkster right next door.

It was on local news (Detroit area) a few nights ago that it was being adopted, I saw it. Next day, they seemed to take it back and delete news articles on the subject. Kinda weird.

Every country under the crown is messed up. They allow unchecked immigration, and the officials treat their citizens like crap.

This is very true. I'm always reminded of Franklin's famous quote:

The use of the word "keep" is the part that is most interesting to me... because in colonial times, this word had far more meaning than it does today. Given the context of the time he made this statement, he was clearly referring to the People's responsibility in protecting and securing all the items contained in the Constitution he'd just been witness and party to creating.

In Franklin's time public officials feared real consequences for their corruption... hence the tar & feathering that occurred. (Samuel Adams was SO right.) The Constitution and subsequent implementation of civil laws likely lessened actual public retaliation towards corrupt officials...but the fear was still as present. Fast forward to now, and there there is no fear amongst these people. Certainly no honor. I honestly don't think we "get there" via some political reformation route.... because they aren't afraid.

I see no solution until the People speak in terms they will understand, and fear.

Exactly right, good old fashioned FEAR is a great motivator. Sadly, We The People cannot simply drag those eitist miscreants out of their plush offices, apply some good hot tar and introduce them to the rail. In some cases, the gallows would be more appropriate. Several have been committing literal High Treason for decades. There is only one judt punishment for that.

hmmmm... so question... why can't we react in ways already mentioned... just curious mind you...

hmmm... guessing not enough support from others?? do the deed and they watch as your taken away???

hmmm... so would need a very large armed support group backing doers when the arresting parties showed up???

    just curious...

guessing one actual response mentioned above would freak out a very large number of politicians...

new laws all over the place...

hmmm.... what if... the people simply chose to ignore the new laws???

what was it Franklin said... we all may hang together but separately all will hang???

    or something like that...

gov is watching... hmmm... just watching and listening and passing on the info...

might make a few backup and regroup or go way overboard and incite a serious response...

just some thoughts mind you... curious...

259 years of passivity will tend to do that to a society...and is why I think it is an inevitability. It is the nature of people to be free.
