Unless I'm missing something I did a quick internet search and saw nothing of the sort.

Seen something today that said Starmer appointed some muzzie lady in charge of their borders and immigration.
Damned if that isn't a setup.

I was insulted, maligned and accused of "hate speech" on another forum (one based in the UK ) for pointing out the fact the British people have been disarmed by their government and cannot defend themselves. They are suffering from such cognitive dissonance, delusion and brainwashing, it's pitiful. Sadly, many Americans are this way, too. The same situation applies in Canuckistan as Maria 739 calls it, Australia, New Zealand and most other European countries.

I heard something about it on Fox News. It was just a short blurb and over.

It's the subject mentality that all governments, including our own, brainwash the populous into accepting through all means under their control - schools, media, universal healthcare, social programs, etc.. It's like a giant pendulum that swings between Citizen (Government fears The People) and Subject (The People fear the Government). It swing towards Subject when times are good and we get complacent, then back to Citizen typically as an uprising from Subjects who have finally had enough.

Love Trump or hate him, he has pushed the pendulum a long ways back towards the Citizen, though hardly all the way there without firing a single shot. We need his successor to be just as effective or all that ground will be quickly lost.

The UK Army is about 74,000 regulars plus about 4,000 Gurkhas with Army reserves at about 25,000 so definitely small, especially when compared to their population (69 million)...another case of NATO abuse on the US.

Just my opinion of course, but I think even a few well trained and armed divisions would be enough to give their government pause and force them to negotiate - I mean - the country is small. Of course, the key would be how many units would side with the people or with the government or remain neutral and if the government has the will to take it to the next level and shed blood knowing the consequences if they fail. It's the same here for once they pull the trigger, they lose control until the outcome. So, would they risk losing power, their freedom, possibly their lives if they lose? The Leftists here won't because they know they would lose and there goes everything it took to decades (probably longer) to put in place. Purges after these events normally are quick and decisive, no 'due process.' Anyway, just my opinion...

Also, I don't think any revolution in history has won against its own government without the support of either its own military and/or foreign support, but I might be wrong there...but I can't think of any.

I read about it in the morning news but didn't hear they killed it...that is indeed good news. The fact that they even considered this should deeply disturb the people of Detroit...which I guess it does or they wouldn't have removed it.

Totally agree. I suppose it's human behavior to believe that one's government always operates within the law and in the people's best interest...we forget it's made up of people. I do think the Left pushed too hard and too fast which has caused the huge backlash starting with Trump's reelection. I do hope the people hold the course and continue to push the pendulum back towards the Citizen, their memory is so damn short. We'll know for certain come mid-term elections.
