The Fairy

    A married couple in their early 60’s was celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant.

    Suddenly, a tiny yet beautiful fairy appeared at their table.

    She said, ‘For being such an exemplary married couple and for being so loving to each other for all this time, I will grant you each a wish.’

    The wife answered, ‘Oh, I want to travel around the world with my darling husband.’

    The fairy waved her magic wand and – poof! – two tickets for the Queen Mary II appeared in her hands.

    The husband thought for a moment: ‘Well, this is all very romantic, but an opportunity like this will never come again. I’m sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me.'

    The wife and the fairy were deeply disappointed, but a wish is a wish.

    So the fairy waved her magic wand and poof!....the husband became 92 years old.

    The moral of the story: Men who are ungrateful bastards should remember fairies are female.

    I just looked at it as the man was ungrateful and he got turned into a 92 yr old man......[beat]

    What he should've wished for, was a woman of 30 yrs old in age, and then problem solved.......[lolol]

    Zumzing went kaflooie, or something. All I see is

    in the first post, it's blank after that. No punch line, no nothing; that's why my first response was, um, short --. CRC had the same problem.

    OK, I've found the problem :) (Ok, so sue me the techie in me just had to find out [ROFL])

    Conhager, you're using IE to view the forum right? Your post shows correctly with IE, but not FF (which is what I am using, and prolly others as well).

    Here is what is wrong, this is part of the original posts HTML code, I suspect that what is in bold is "breaking" in FF (as it prolly should) and IE is just ignoring it:
    [_IMG_]http://www.survivalmonkey.com/forum/ /><_/font_><_br /_> *<_br /_> <_FONT face=[_/IMG_]<_font size=" /_><font size=" /> <br /> [/html]<font size=" face="[_/IMG_]<font"><font][size=><font [_="" img_]="" size=" face="><font"><font ]=" face=" [="" img]=""><font"><font][size=><font]>[SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][SIZE=3][COLOR=black][COLOR=black][COLOR=black]<font][size=>

    Edited cause I couldn't get the mix of HTML and board code to display as I wanted. If you remove the "_" in the above line that would be the original code. What's happening is that there is an IMG tag, which tells the board software to display an image, the closing IMG tag (the one with the "/" preceeding it) is what's causeing the problem. So, who understands the problem here?foosed

    I've had that 'gremlins' feeling several times lately, but maybe that's a good thing.
