Hi guys, I know I might have upset some people before I left because I was very serious about the New World Order shenanigans and some people didn't quite conform to my views and opinions, but I have relaxed a little bit and am not so anal. I have a really good friend on here and miss some of the like minded individuals on here that I enjoyed like Tango, Ghrit and Route clearance. If you have it in your heart to forgive me then thank you, but if you want me to leave I'll understand just let me know. If I am correct, he is a religious nutjob and a very angry person. I think that some of what you have to say grants merit -and you are certainly on the right path, but your perceptions are being clouded by fervent belief in a dogma which cannot offer you true, scientific answers to the real problems which concern us. If you want to find others who believe as strongly as you do, I doubt there are any around here who will pick up a pitchfork and join you on some holy crusade to oust the demons. Perhaps Alex Jones is looking for some friends? I don't know, man. In any case, good luck to you. I will try to steer clear of you, but for the record -I won't hesitate calling you out on any extremist religious rantings.
Your right Broker, That thread you linked does not exactly shine a positive light on me and that was also why I apologized to Valkman. That and because of a second amendment decision thread. While I have been nothing but calm and respectful since I came back I will take my leave. Thank You, Patriot
First of all - Don't play innocent and harmless. Regardless of what your previous intentions were, words mean things. On a forum, a person who posts things such as you must certainly have motives behind the thought, or else you wouldn't be here reaching out. Second -I am not the decider as to whether you stay or go, that decision will be left to those who actually moderate these forums. And finally -I don't have a problem with you personally...for all I know, you are a fine gentleman in person, but I do know that religious extremism comes in all forms, and Christians are not exempt from this process. You may very well be on a learning curve, and have yet to reach the conclusion of your journey -and I am not here to try and convince you about some evil conspiracy, nor would I like to try and persuade you to join my cause, which doesn't exist by the way. All that anybody can ask of you is for you to just try and reason out what may be troubling you without copying and pasting stories from religious news outlets and working yourself up into a frenzy....your reality is not necessarily my reality. The next thing you know, you will be stark raving mad, running through the streets exclaiming that the Messiah is coming and the world will end as it was predicted. That's just no way to live, man. The future is created, it is not prophesied out of ancient, vague work of fiction. If you would like to present a case based on math and science and still relate with some religion, fine...but those cases are rare and few ever accept the challenge of providing proof for religion, because its vehicle is faith (belief), and revelation (personal accounts), which have nothing at all to do with reality or my own perception. If there is one thing I have learned, it is that WE make our own future -WE alone create our own destiny. The minute you give up your own sovereignty, whether it be to a cause, a government, or a god -you lose control of your own mind, and you become a tool for control. Take from that what you will. I have nothing against religious people personally, but I seriously doubt that the main subject of focus of this place is what you espouse, or else there would be a different title for the forum, and there isn't even a single "gospel" section around here. I am not berating you here, just stating the obvious. I hope that I do not come off as too unfriendly, because I am typing this to you with real kind concern. I am just too old and too well versed in biblical fiction and its motives to wish to deal with it any longer. And being nice and playing innocent doesn't work well with me...I appreciate harsh words and truthfulness over being placated any day of the week. *edit* Just take it easy.
