Is that so many people don't live like I do. It is cool that ya'll live in cities and I don't. I do have a hand pump well, I grow my food, at least some of it, I kill my meat and proccess it myself. I really wish you all could do what I do, but that is not reallistic. If I knew y'all better I would love to you come visit and learn how I survive and just be closer to the land. I have and will continue to learn from y'all. Why I am writing this I know not but everyone has value in this forum. I guess I am saying thank you. I have learned alot here and on other web sites, this is the first one that I refer people to. Just a thank-you thing I guess.

Learning from others here, and elsewhere

Is very worthwhile. I may not agree with everything said here, but it compells me to regularly re-examine my values and give careful thought to what I read and type.

There is much that we can learn from each other.....therein lies the value of the site and its contributors.

Very well said. There have been a few here who I irritated, and who irritated me. I was way too brash and overbearing when I first got here. This site has toned me down in many ways and allowed me to question myself in a good way.

the brashness though, makes people think faster
gets the to examine their values and ideals
    sometimes it does help
