It was a really pretty day, and around 2:00 we hit 70. I wasn't the only one enjoying the nice weather.
28 this morning at the beach. First time I've needed a jacket all since last winter. Wearing my hearing protection to keep my ears warm. Sitting in my tower waiting for shooters to show up at the range with their new Christmas guns.
mid - 40s in Chicago today - a temp roller coaster going into January >>> long range forecast is showing a eazy winter ....
Snow level means that is the lowest altitude that snow exists, on the mountains, on both sides of the fjord that we live in...
weird season so far. Since thanksgiving we've roller coasted between 65 and 35 until Xmas. Now we are 50 to 15. Serious lack of snow due to it being warmer but we sure did get the rain. Cold and sunny followed by warm and rainy. We really need to get the temps below zero for at least a few days followed by single digits and no snow to keep the bugs/pests down. Last year we only had a couple of days total in the single digits and below. Bugs were terrible in the garden this year.
