i am concerned about that. i stopped b/p meds because efficacy was small. b/p at rest no meds 180/90 pulse 68. whether real or imagined i have felt small pings of heart pain since starting celebrex when working,, not alot or big,,, but.
il prob start b/p meds again. my income is boom/bust. last year or so been eating alot of mountain house, mre, dehydrated fruit and get fresh fruit potatoes meat, bread to extend the emergency stash. i see celebrex as a bridge to identify the underlying cause so i dont need it. at this point i belive my crappy diet is what is causing whatever flavor of arthritis i have. now that im functional again the indoor green house and proxy salmon/moose is going to take priority. thankyou fellow simians for advice and whats working for you

had a friend with bad shoulder, meds said may cause cancer on the bottle. it did. died less then a year. that was 30 years ago.

.. .. if ya have high blood pressure plus cardiac problems dont take Diclofenac (Voltaren), ask yer doctor what ya can take instead .. ..

.. .. aspirin should not interfere with yer heart [ it would probably help the heart ] .. .. GI bleeding is a prob tho .. .. ya could take safety coated aspirin .. ..

    .. .. olive oil .. .. garlic .. .. ginger .. .. fish high in omega-3 .. .. should help .. .. ask yer doctor .. ..

.. .. yer doctor or dietician may recommend the Mediterranean Diet .. ..

    [ google AI ] [ verified / edited by humans ]

Key Components of the Mediterranean Diet:

    Abundant Fruits and Vegetables:
    .
A wide variety of fruits and vegetables form the base of the diet, providing essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

    Whole Grains:
    .
Choosing whole grains like brown rice, quinoa, and whole wheat bread over refined grains is a key aspect of the diet.

    Healthy Fats:
    .
Extra virgin olive oil is a staple, used for cooking and dressings. Nuts, seeds, and avocados are also important sources of healthy fats.

    Fish and Seafood:
    .
Regular consumption of fish, particularly fatty fish like salmon, is encouraged due to their omega-3 fatty acid content.

[ avoid fish like tuna which contain Methylmercury ]

if ya cant eat salmon substitute it with other healthy fats

    Legumes:
    .
Lentils, beans, and chickpeas are excellent sources of plant-based protein and fiber.

    Moderate Dairy:
    .
Low-fat dairy products like yogurt and cheese are included, but in moderation.

    Limited Red Meat:
    .
Red meat is consumed sparingly, with a focus on lean poultry and fish as protein sources.

    Herbs and Spices:
    .
A wide array of herbs and spices are used to flavor foods, reducing the need for excessive salt.

sorry about yer friend :( :(

I seen this earlier,,, I don't have no proof of its effectiveness,, or if you can even get it . Sounds like it could fix a lot of different problems that a lot different folks have.
Might be worth looking in to ....
Also ,, remember,,, my doctoring license is expired,, and I have " NO" authority to recommend any kind of medicinal suggestions .

i was getting diminishing returns from generic celebrex id take it @ 10 before bed and by 7 pain creep-ed back. by 9 it was bad. ulcer acted up and bp pulse went to 200/92 , p-100,, so back to the clinic. i had 3-4 mobic stashed and tried them before bed and after 3 days i felt better then i have in years. i am hoping i get that result from generic mobic. got new b/p med and pepcid for ulcer. im aso trying a calcium citrate, zinc, magnesium,d3 multi and glucosimine. sent out blood work to look for cancer and see if its ostio or rheumatoid.
salmon are coming but its a big ask. maybe i can dip net with help. i think this will work. i dont expect to be 20 y/o again but functional would be nice. the risk/reward of dmso makes it un appealing. to easy for cross contamination.
    thanks for the input.

so changed from celebrex to mobic with much better results. no joint pain for full 24 hr between doses and no ulcer pain. the b/p med metropal has controlled my pulse but systolic (top#)still high and nodding out a couple times a day. pikka loves naptime. tomorrow il try 1 pepsid instead of two and half a metropal. still better overall, i can do stairs again.

DMSO. Get a roll on. Use it right after a shower when your skin is clean without any lotions. It is actually built in to some medicinal patches to help get medicine through the skin. Hubby uses it and swears by it. Note its itchy for about 10-15 minutes after you put it on but that goes away. I am not a doctor just saying what hubby does. He has broken his back in 5 spots while in the military. This actually is one of the few things that helps him. Also upping his potassium intake has greatly reduced his BP. YMMV.
