I believe that Jeff Cooper suggested a supressed .22LR ti the Isreali's, and the ruger was their choice. I saw it in action once when the new showed some rioters throwing rocks. I saw a tree twig clipped off and then the rock thrower grabbed a burned writs, looked confused then scared, then he beat feet. Looked pretty effective to me. Wish the NG was using them down on our border. jim
If you go into the article it says trops didn't respect the lethality of the round "because its just a .22" and were inadvertantly hitting above the waist and causing fatalities...
Exactly! .... Indadvertantly my butt. Although I'd bet that "just" a 22 is not respected as lethal by a lot of folks.
