12V DC water pump

    My system has the 12Vdc Dankoff Vane Pump pulling water from a 500USG cistern, thru a 5 micron Trash filter. Then the output goes thru a check valve to a Distribution Header, which has a 60# pressure switch, a 30 USG Air Bladder Tank, and feeds a .5 micron Filter, and an Activated Charcoal Filter, and then thru a UV SteriizerTank, and then feeds thru a buried 1/2” Galvanized Heat Taped Pipe into the Cabin... All this sits in an insulted WellHouse, just behind the Cabin....

    Nice setup BT!

    HB549 you may want to make note of BT's setup. Anytime you use surface water you should probably be aware of parasites that may be present. That's why BT uses a UV sterilizer tank (is my guess).

    You really don't want to ingest water that contains Giardia or other organisms.

    Not an issue with well water (not to say that well water can't be contaminated)
