Given the media intensity given to the Corona or Wuhan virus, there seems no reason to have posts on that very specific subject in several forums Accordingly, all of those posts will be moved to "Headlines". All new items on that subject should be posted there as well. This notice will expire on 1 April, or be extended if needed. Thanks, folks.

I ran across this article. It had a few that I did not know had healing properties. It is a nice list to print off and have for reference in case SHTF. With rising healthcare costs, do it yourself is increasing.

Please note: I had a home healing failure. I tried for weeks, tried all the natural remedies but ended up in the doctors office. What I had needed something strong and I have no clue how I would have healed it during times of collapse.

I am posting some but please follow the link for the complete list.

Echinacea is something everyone should be growing. It is a nice plant that would look lovely in your garden but it is nice that you can harvest and receive the medicinal properties from it.

And our grandparents died of common colds, minor scrapes and other things we wouldn't imagine today, too.

I don't think the point is that these replace modern antibiotics, but for when you can't get them anymore or they are in very short supply.

You use what you have and know when the truck load of supplies and trained medical help is cut off by the landslide, the wind is too high for choppers, you know the rest of the story ----

ACV cures alot of things =)

I personally can't do straight shots of it so I pot a capful on 4 oz of water and add a drop of stevia so it tastes like lemonade

It's good bee pollen fodder, good for the bees, good for honey production, good for cross fertilisation of productive garden plants.

There's a place for both modern and traditional, evidence based medicines. It should be noted that traditional medicines are not without side effects and (harmful) contraindications Contraindication - Wikipedia. There are some people who shouldn't take echinacea as a pharmeceutical ingredient....Contraindications for Echinacea 1x oral

The consumer needs to do their due diligence in checking (with their physician if necessary) before taking any "medicine" that jas not been prescribed for them.

Good list but I am not sure my grandparents had access to extra virgin coconut oil in East Texas. Some I do remember them using and I use.

I agree @T. Riley I do not know anyone who grows olives. I do notice on most of these lists there are things that are not easy to grow. I have seen medicinal lists that have lots of Asian plants on them.

That is why you should try them now when you can seek medical help. That is what one monkey told me and it is true. Like I said in my opening post, I tried to cure something at home and failed. I had impetigo. I tried tree tree, coconut oil, oil of oregano etc. It just would not kill it. It got really bad but thankfully I was able to get to the doctors and they gave me stuff that killed it.
