    My old commuter...

I know it needs a battery. Will run on starting fluid...pretty sure it needs a fuel pump, as I changed the fuel filter about 1500 mi ago.

Tires are Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires, about 65%.

Power everything and ac works. Interior is so-so. Clearcoat peeling, green in color.

If interested, shipping arrangements should be taken care of by you...I dont want to be responsible for handling someone else's money.

This car is good for a daily commuter or first car for a new driver. 2.5L V6 gets about 34mgp on the highway. Auto trans. 197,xxx mi on the clock.

Probably worth about $800 running, here. Just wanted to offer for any monkeys in need here before I scrap it.

If I remember correctly, last I looked into it the fuel pump was around $180. May be able to get one from a wrecking yard?...

    Hope this helps.

It might also just need a fuel pump relay, which this model is supposed to have. That's a $25 part. But, even the fuel pump won't be bad. I don't know if it's inside the tank or not, though. Might be a hard install alone, would cost a bit more at a garage.

    Good point, @Brokor.
I'll see if I can look into the relay this week, time permitting. Also, the fuel pump is in the tank. It is a poly tank though, so dropping it shouldn't be too bad. No where near like the task of dropping a 30 gal steel tank out of a pickup truck...which almost invariably is full.

I think Australia may be a logistical operation not quite worth the candle, generous as your offer is. ;) (y)

I would put it on Craigs list. I have sold a few cars on there, even one that was totaled.

    I thought about that, @Motomom34.

Dealing with all the flakes and weirdos on there is sometimes not worth the hassle though. I'd much rather donate it to someone in need.

Yesterday the car went to a family in need of one...they were pretty happy!
