They're Baaack! They came in while I was in the yard this past Saturday, 21 March. It was a quiet afternoon until right at 2:00. Their jubilant songs and acrobatic swooping around the house were their homecoming celebration, and just what I needed! They wouldn't stay still on the house long enough for me to get pictures, and all the shots I tried to get of them flying look like nothing but blue sky. If I have lots of free time at home I will try to train this years adults to catch crickets launched with a sundae spoon.
Dammit HotDiggity ,,, seems like only a few weeks ago you posted this same report . And now it's 2020 already . Time flys when you're having fun , or when you get older .
You have to look on the bright side. If you don't like how hot it is this summer it'll be Christmas before you know it. Even lawn mowing season isn't so long any more. The only down side is that even slight injuries seem to take longer to heal... and has anybody seen my keys?
