I've just never understood the benefit to alleged schemes such as the FEMA Internment Camp idea; and there has to be a benefit, and there has to be a pay off. Our politicians don't do anything out of idealism or moral conscience. They want a pay off. They want hard cash that they can speed into their off shore bank accounts.

Most of the people who would be locked up in these detention facilities, according to going stories, would be the ones who are ticked off with the government - ticked off because they are the ones actually paying taxes, and watching their hard earned tax money being frittered away. If you lock up all the tax payers, where does the money come from to line the politicians pockets and to feed the crack heads?

I have the same criticism of the 9/11 conspiracy claims. Where's the money? Show me where an American official got dirty, stinking rich off of it, and I might be more able to believe that someone would go to that much trouble and expense.

I actually have see a vidio fly by of one of these camps. What it was , was an old abanded military base that had been retrofitted of late. No visable signs of people during the day, but lots of activity at night. Barracks after barracks, all newly painted, weeded , reroofed etc, roads and fences repaired. Put a shiver up my spine. Do I have the links ? No. Sorry, but will see if I can find them again and then post them here.

Can you say "401k?" If they're going to $h!t all over the Constitution, why not steal money while they're at it...under the guise of "national security" of course. You probably won't need it...you'll be dead. Everyone left over can just work for the govt. for food/shelter.

But that doesn't show me where an individual or individuals got rich because of 9/11, or will get rich by putting American taxpayers in Internment Camps. Yes, politicians are getting rich off of the current system, but how would their fortunes improve by putting away the people who are making them rich? Why not continue the existing system? It's working pretty well for them so far.

I would be more concerned by a massive expansion of state and federal prison systems, because those systems have indeed become lucrative money makers - not for the American tax payer, we're where the money is coming from; but once the operations of prisons was farmed out to the private sector, it became a serious source of profit for a select few. Crime pays, at least for those who own stock in Wackenhut and other similar companies.

Once the trigger event takes place, all the trouble makers, anti-government, gun toting, bible thumping folks will need to be held for re-education. What happens with all that money, homes, land and assets that the interned wont need anymore- redistribution. It would be the only "fair" thing to do. Obama continually express fairness in all his decrees and language regarding taking from those that have, and giving to those in need- IE those that support the agenda.

My opinion is that the "mandate" would then be a collective socialist government where the people would work the businesses and farms, they would receive equal pay and the government would distribute the product or food. Thinking it thru, sounds a bit like China's model.

Nah. Communism has proven itself to be a dead end. The only reason China has become an economy to be reckoned with is because they are slipping away from Communism, one American dollar at a time. Both Russia and China now resemble 1920s America more that they do the ideals of Stalin and Mao.

There's more money to be made from squeezing the American middle class, than there is from locking them all up. Even the profit of locking up criminals comes from the middle class, tax paying citizens. Our politicians have found an economic model that works for them. I can't see them abandoning it.

The idea which shouldn't be overlooked is the fact that not every American Citizen will be interred inside the FEMA camps. The plan is clearly spelled out in the directives already linked (take the time to read the official government reports). The idea is to round up dissidents and those who are a threat to the government --militias, activists and protesters. Most Citizens will blindly obey any fascist dictates and welcome any and all arrests since they will believe the "terrorists" have been neutralized. Think before labeling these truths as conspiracy theory.

Just be an obedient slave / sheep and you will not be placed in indefinite detention.

China is moving from Communism toward Fascism, does that mean it will be a better, freer place to live ?

As I was told by a rich man once "Money is just a way of keeping score once you get past a point"

Once they have all power do you think money will matter ?

According to the original linked article: "There are now 800 prison-like “FEMA encampment centers” all over the United States capable of holding literally every American citizen."

Why would a capacity be created that is never meant to be utilized?

I'm not arguing that the American government would not, and will not, imprison dissenters to government policy and actions. Ask anyone who remembers the civil rights era how far your right to free speech will get you when you start saying things that the government, local or Federal, really doesn't want to hear. I don't doubt that the Federal, State, and local governments have in place a plan to deal with widespread unrest. I'm sure they do.

I am struck though by the absence of evidence of a plan on the part of the Federal government to implement a nationwide scheme to imprison vast numbers of American citizens in FEMA relocation camps, even though the claim of these FEMA camps has been floating about the internet now for quite a few years. The contract to KBR that has been held up as a smoking gun, is nothing more than a six year old contingency contract for an immigration overflow center. I see nothing ominous in it.

I do try to be open-mined enough to "think before labeling these truths as conspiracy theory", but I am logical enough to want to see evidence before I label these conspiracy theories as truth.

I will not disagree with on the fact that .gov has been passing Executive Orders, numerous amounts of legislation (city, county, state and federal) taking away freedoms and liberties, militarizing the local law enforcement agencies, passing legislation making more people criminals and imprisoning them (War on Drugs and War on Terrorism), telling landowners what you can do with your property, tax upon tax upon tax, enslaving us with an unsermountable amount of debt, printing money out of thin air, dumbing down the public education system, intrusion upon intrusion by government into our personal lives, corrupt politicians paying back the high bidder instead of the constituents they are supposed to represent.

I could go on and on, on how f***ing much I do not like the direction we are heading. So much so, that if I knew 30 yrs. ago what I know now today. I never would of brought any children into this world and let my families name die off with me.

I have never been a conformist and question just about everything I read and hear on the Internet, along with all the media sources available. I do not trust the government, police, politicians, large corporations, schools and most of all people. Until proven otherwise, my trust stays in my back pocket.

I am not so naive/ignorant to think that folks like myself are not being labeled as dissidents/domestic terrorists and could someday try to lock up some of us. That is plausible and I would not put anything past .gov anymore. However, I have not see any proof that all these FEMA camps actually exist. All the ones within my state they claim are FEMA camps, are actual prisons (state and federal) already almost filled to capacity. I am aware that any type of public or private facility could be converted, they did not even need to enact anything to do that in a time of catastrophe or emergency.

I just do not see any proof of all these FEMA camps, is all.

They exist. There's a really great example in the Jesse Ventura "Conspiracy Theory" show already linked. It's a live, fully functional center with guards and barbed wire facing inward. When questioning the representatives there, Ventura was shunned and told "no comment" about this place. This is the country we live in today --our own servants acting like they are part of a secret government who answers to no one save official military and police. The civilian population is completely criminalized and categorized the same as enemy combatants. You stated it well in the above comment, and if you connect those dots, it isn't a leap to come to the conclusion that these FEMA camps are in fact real. However, I would agree with you or anybody when they say it is unlikely the government would round up people by whole towns and cart them off to these places. It's just not logical or sound to conclude we are all going to be destined for imprisonment in a FEMA camp...but those of us who continue to resist are far more likely to be harassed and possibly detained as we see the police state come into full swing. I do not adhere to slippery-slope arguments, and I do not support wild theories about the end of the world.

Fusion Centers are real. FEMA camps are real. What will happen is for the psychics and the overlords in Washington to determine apparently.
