China is pretty much breaking us the same way we broke the Soviet Union in principle. Only China is doing it much faster and much more efficiently than we did.

 

With one major difference, we out sourced our manufacturing to China and no longer have the manufacturing base, with the USSR, the division of the country lead to manufacturing being in one "country" and the market being in another country. East Germany, Ukraine, etc, effect was the same however, the area as a whole lost its ability to be self sufficient, and with the EU and NATO, we isolated Russia from much of its former industrial base and were able to destroy most of its ability to challenge our world domination. China has taken notice of those actions and is just trying to do the same thing using different "pressure points". I just wish that we were able to make America First more than just a bumper sticker. In fact one can argue that at least one faction wishes to destroy our political system and way of life in order to impose their preferred solution in the new order that follows.

While it may be the same as the NAZI short term wins, China has so far been able to finish projects it starts, high speed rail, massive dams, modernizing their manufacturing base, urban population area being created, modernizing agriculture, etc. We seem to have lost that ability, high speed trains in the middle of nowhere, new ships and airplanes that do not work, etc. China may well win by default as we turn more inward and try not to fall totally apart.

 

We are not doing it to ourselves. Our criminal "leaders" are doing it to us. They are profiting wildly as the rest of us drown in their plans. They are traitors. You have 3 financial options: gold, silver, and bitcoin. Nothing else of value is going to survive the Bidens. When the housing bubble bursts China will be here to buy everything with our own money. They plan to own America and the shills in office plan to sell it to them.

That being said a lot of the stuff China claims to have and be are lies. They are pretending to be more than they are in the classic Tsun Tzu sense. They have built cities that are completely empty to make themselves look more prosperous than they are. The Agenda 2030 goal is to make China the dominant world power whether they can do it or not. All of their money came from the US buying their cheap plastic crap and that has started to shut down so it will have an affect. They appear to be collapsing along with the US.

Kind of beyond pathetic that we are dependent on a enemy for most of our manufacturing and a large portion of our National Debt. And we the the people did do this to ourselves with the demand for cheap everything at the cost of independence, employment and Quality. Can't really blame the corporations for giving the American People what they demanded.

 

We started this slide back in the 60's, the auto industry, steel industry, Ect! Remember when the Japanese started supplying cheap stuff designed to compete with our own stuff as well as from Europe? Those cheap Jap cars and Sony stereos and all that is what started things off. Fast forward into the 70's and China started to make ground in cheap labor, to the point where our "Supplies" got shifted to Chinese manufactures! We didn't really understand the effects this would all have until we started to loose market share against what Chine, Japan, and other Asian manufactures could produce. Going into the 90's we saw American companies trying to adopt the Asian way of doing things, and we suffered greatly, remember ISO and 9001 compliance? We sort of allowed ourselves to be taken by those cheap labor markets and found we couldn't compete, not with the average american income, unions, and big tech, plus China's ability to steal everything and then sell it back to use with different packaging!

Now, were stuck in a very hard place one that will pretty much destroy us to dig ourselves out of! America needs to stop importing shit from China and greater Asia, and start manufacturing here again, it's going to raise prices and keep demand down, but we need to be weened off of cheap Chinese shit!

 

There is a movie called Ghost Box Cowboy. It was supposed to be a comedy but really is just depressing. They show the whole Chinese product theft procedure from beginning to end. Don't watch the movie unless you like to be depressed. I watched it for a different reason. I wanted to see the process but also anger is a good motivator. Chinese may work hard but I'll tell you what, Mexicans can do manual labor better than anyone and they aren't trying to own us. They do feel that they are owed 2 or 3 states that used to be theirs, but for the most part, they just work hard and want to be left alone. Japan has a different view of America. China sees us as uneducated spoiled kids to be taken advantage of. China hates the US. Japan wants to compete with us which I am all for. Run a fair race and the winner wins. That I am ok with but subverting our politicians and buying off Joe Biden and cheating is not acceptable.

I also think this is what the banks want. They designed the system to do exactly this with the 100 year plan of 1913. They put it into action in 1933 with socialism and Roosevelt and its been growing ever since. Tell me the 'new deal' is not socialism. This is the results. People who say socialized health care is the only way to go are wrong. Any time you OK stealing from one group to give to another you have lost your Republic and that is exactly what Roosevelt gave us: a Democracy and took away our Republic.

When trump said "I think China just makes up their economic numbers" he appears to be right. Remember their economy went into free fall during the trade war and our economy boomed? Well if china's economy was even 2/3 as big as they say it is then if they went into free fall we would have at least gone into a bit of a recession.

China may eat our lunch. But it will be short lived.
Their one child policy will bite their ass hard. Their population is aging faster than ours, their fertility rate is lower than ours and they will have less working age people to support their aging population and social programs.
They are basically in the same boat as we are but their boat has a bigger hole.
They will be number one in terms of global economic prowess but it won't last very long. India will take that away in less than a generation. Granted most of us old farts won't be here to see it happen, but India will boot China to the curb as the economic power house. China's policies might wind up being so bad that they wind up going from first to third in short order with the US moving back into second place.

We were once a young country with lots of innovation and the reserve currency. We are heading into the twilight of our reign. It's going to take some number of years but we are on the decline. Not going to be fun but we are by no means going to become a third world nation. We are still going to be better off than europe.

As for military strength, The US will probably remain at the top but China, then India will be right on our heels. Russia will continually fall down the ranking but because they have nukes they won't fall out of the top 5 but their conventional will be considered lacking and will drag them down.

The world is a changing. Whether or not we want it to.

I don't think its going to take as long as you surmise. Ever heard of a Fibonacci sequence? The numbers add up faster as it gets going. When all of the SHTF it is going to hit really hard and from every angle.

 

I'll give you my best guess for timeline:
US still on top until about 2030 maybe 2034 could they fight until 2040?
China on top until maybe 2050. It will be short lived as they won't be able to support their social programs (infrastructure and economic)
After that India kicks China to 3rd place

My expiration date will be during Chinas short lived golden age.

The banking industry is also very unstable and millions of mortgage holders are currently refusing to make payments.

The danger is that China may need to shift gears dramatically to stay afloat if they have an industrial collapse and their newly revamped military might be the path they take to move forward.

The greed of the US and the West have fueled this situation by being gladly willing to purchase goods made by slaves to save a buck. To provide real stability we need to move manufacturing back to western nations and allow China to grow naturally.

The US allowed our manufacturing base to be shipped overseas not only to China but all over the world. Textiles gone, steel production -majority gone, pharmaceuticals - majority gone, electronics-gone the list is endless. Why was this allowed to happen IMO to artificially keep our standards of living at its current level. With our elevated wages and government interference in domestic manufacturing the US can't compete with foreign cheap labor and little government interference. The import of cheap goods allows us to keep our high standard of living but it won't last forever IMO that is about to change

I can tell you, taking graduate courses in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering…
there are very few American kids in these classes. Most are Chinese, Indian, or Middle Eastern. Our time at the top of technology is coming to an end.
