300 People From 29 States Arrested For Crimes Under Guise Of ‘Peaceful’ Protests

More than 300 people in 29 states and Washington, D.C. have been charged for crimes ranging from damaging federal property to attempted murder “under the guise of peaceful demonstrations,” the Justice Department said in a Thursday statement.

More than 40 of the 94 U.S. Attorneys’ Offices have filed charges alleging crimes including arson, burglary, and felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, among others, according to the Justice Department.

The number of arrests were announced after months of protests and riots across the country following the death of George Floyd in May after a police officer knelt on his neck for nearly 9 minutes. While peaceful protests have taken place, riots have erupted in many cities, causing extensive damage and even resulting in numerous deaths.

Approximately 80 people were charged with arson and explosives related charges and roughly 15 were charged with damaging federal property, including the Portland Courthouse, Nashville Courthouse, Minneapolis Police Third Precinct, and a local high school in Minnesota. Police cruisers in several states will also require taxpayer dollars to replace after being damaged.

Businesses were also destroyed, looted, and ransacked in many cities where riots took place. In Minneapolis and St.Paul, more than 250 buildings were damaged and looted in late May and June, many of them small businesses.

Approximately 35 people have been charged with assaulting law enforcement officers. A man in Portland, which has been the site of demonstrations for 110 days as of Thursday, is alleged to have struck a U.S. Marshalls Deputy from behind with a wooden baseball bat.

Nearly 30 people were charged with offenses related to civil disorder, which included using social media platforms to incite destruction and assaults.

“In Cleveland, two Pennsylvania men are charged with driving to the city with the intent to participate in a riot and commit acts of violence. In their possession, authorities found a black backpack containing a hammer, two containers of Sterno Firestarter Instant Flame Gel, a can of spray paint, a glass bottle of liquor with a bar-style pour top, a Glock semi-automatic firearm and two magazines loaded with ammunition,” the statement says.

A focal point for protests and riots shifted to Loisuville, Kentucky, where a grand jury indicted one police officer Wednesday on three counts of wanton endangerment in the first degree the case surrounding the shooting of Breonna Taylor. Two police officers were also shot and are in stable condition Louisville Police Chief Robert Schroeder announced at a press conference. A suspect is also in custody.

A total of 127 people were reportedly apprehended between Wednesday and Thursday for damaging businesses, jumping on city vehicles, and violating a 72-hour curfew that was announced ahead of the grand jury report. (RELATED: Over 120 Arrests Recorded At Louisville Riots, Reports Say)

IN Portland, the District Attorney simply lets the crooks go, most with out filing any charges, so unless some one steps up and charges them with FED crimes, these assholes get off scot free!

 

So, interestingly I think this happened last night. When the Proud Boys announced they were holding a rally in Portland, Kate Brown clutched her pearls and issued a state of emergency. Local PD was federally deputized and use of things like tear gas, etc, were once more authorized in order to protect the citizens from a bunch of dudes who sing patriotic songs, wave flags, and generally stay quite chill unless someone comes at them. Nothing happened, the PB did their thing and went home without incident other than having some paintball guns and shields taken from them.

And then later that night, freed from their leashes, it looks like the Portland PD went to town on the rioters. They're still crying about it on Twitter. IDK how many or if any got hit with federal charges but fingers crossed. Pretty sure this was PB's plan all along, just like trolling Antifa about showing up in what was it, St Louis? And then never coming and letting Antifa turn on each other for lack of a victim.

Maybe for a brief moment or two, it was about Floyd. Now its just Marxists and anarchists and other losers having an excuse to commit various crimes and act weird. There are no interviews or statements about what they hope to accomplish. I've been told that BLM was a Marxist group from the start. It's been amazing that locals haven't used these idiots for target practice. The people in these mostly liberal place got what they voted for. I guess they support this lunacy.

 

Quite a few people noted that the Proud Boys and Patriot Prayer came and went peacefully since the PPD was able to prevent AntiFa from initiating violence. All the violence happened later when it was just BLMtiFa. More and more prople criticizing Brown, Wheeler and Schmidt in regular social media as well.

The lap dog local press did try to be misleading with teasers to the articles about the later violence implying that "extreme right wing agitators" were involved. Anybody who actually read the articles could find the truth, which was after the main body chock full of PB and PP. If you didn't read the whole thing or just skimmed the headlines you would think that all the violence was due to them. I think they have blown their credibility with increasing numbers of citizens that have had direct impact. There is a reason why the commenting is now always turned off on these stories.

 

Looks like someone in Oregon is getting nervous... This is in regards to a report that the catch and release program involved a little cell phone cloning to see where these gremlins were getting their intel and $$ from.

 

Nothing mentioned about the various charges of home grown terrorist, activist and other charges about/against the rioters who destroyed federal property.

 

Looks like a Head Hunting party just wanting to stir the pot.

I believe over 800 have been arrested in Louisville KY alone. No clue the total number nationwide. Not surprised to see a number of the rioters arrested often have parents who are either extremely wealthy, democrat politicians, or celebrities.
