It is within my Price Point.... However... I think AlaskaChick's Parents wouldn't be to happy if we parked it in their Driveway, like we did with the Red Toyota 4X4 Pickup, and it's replacement.... which we will be buying net week.... AND, I do NOT own my own Oil Well, to feed this Beast.....
How I wish I had that... ... here in Cambodia, to drive over the Lexus SUVs and Toyota Land Cruisers owned by the stupid NGOs.
@GSdog I have this sneaking suspicion that there's a BMW involved with your username. You might like snooping thru this thread - The M/C Shop | Survival Monkey Forums I'd be willing to trade my Triumph for the truck with some suitable vig. With the gravel roads around here (especially my hill) my scrawny carcass no longer rides this area. Or, when you tell me that @BTPost 's check has cleared, I'll drive it to his MIL's place in time for the barge next spring. TBH, looking at the low weight restrictions on roads and bridges in this area, I have to admit being defeated with this project.
For those monkeys that do not speak M925, this is some of what the M925 can do In this vid an M925 pulls an M931 out of the mud
Check out the GOV auction's They are blowing out a serious amount of surplus equipment all over the country. I got my LMTV for 5K and the trailer and all the accessories for about 4K including 8 tires and rims! I also bought a fet of MRAP 9 ton axles and a transfer case to build my new and improved truck ( with my UNI-MOG cab) 4X4 with 4 wheel steer!!!
That brings back some memories... Curious...why the downgraded engine? It is supposed to have a Cummins 240 engine.
Impressive video, sec. That kind of stuff to me, is way more exciting than a hot rod burning rubber around a corner and going from 0-60 in 5 seconds. There must have been at one point, several tons of mud packed up in front of the M931, and it still pulled the truck out.
Its a 20 ton winch if you look close he is only using a single line pull not snatch block to double the line. Use caution when purchasing gov auctions never know what you are buying ( bad trans not running electrical problems Etc: ) This truck has been Serviced on a regular basis .
I did it. Have been studying for the real estate tests this week and was ignoring the pain in the ass from New Jersey
