Well, it appears that Polymer 80 was raided by the ATF. Brownells and Midway were also visited.
What where they grabbing? Sales records.

So, if you bought a Polymer 80 'Buy, Build, Shoot kit'

And there is now anecdotal evidence that buyers of such kits are now receiving visits from the ATF as well.

Now, I'm not a lawyer, but if the ATF rolls up and asks you if you bought a kit, don't lie and say no as you can now be arrested for obstruction ... just state you are not answering any questions without a lawyer present. And then just shut up. Respond to all questions with 'Lawyer' or no response at all.

I'm also betting that Pistol braces are on the hit list too.
I wonder if they have the list of those that bought bump stocks. I bet they do now.

What I read was that Polymer 80 was selling 100% guns without the paperwork. Not saying it's true, just what I read.

What they are offering for sale was a box with everything in it to build a gun after you finish machined the frame. No different than going in to your local gun store, buying a 80 percent lower, a LPK, a barrel, a slide and assorted springs and some drill bits.

Not a gun until you manufacture it.

I'm also wondering that with their info grab if they also got a list of those that bought bump stocks, binary triggers and pistol braces as well.

 

P80 needs a "go fund me".

I have my Amazon Smile account set to support SAF (Second Amendment Foundation), which is Washington States gun rights group. Had it not been for them Washington would be worse off than California. Every time I buy from Amazon they get a small donation.

Our local Kroger's outfit (Fred Meyer) also has a donation program. In this case I donate to OFF (Oregon Firearms Foundation), which is Oregon's version of SAF. Unfortunately smaller than SAF.
