Could very well be.. just clouds the argument. These are outlandish enough to be a hoax... This could only be accounted for by "radiation", (not nuclear radiation.) (but as in the Methods of heat transfer conduction, convection, radiation)...andthe rear halves covered or blocked some how... or " HOLY CRAP! spontaneous vehicle combustion!!.."
Looks like a combination of sandblasting and overpressure. Some parts of the vehicles would be shielded by nearby structures. Explosions do weird things. Just a guess.
