I did not read the whole thing, I'll go back when I have the time. My first take however, is that he lost me when he started using the term "political right". There is no such thing, rights are natural and governments and politicians can either protect them or restrict them, but they can never grant them or take away the existence of the right. Even if he has a good argument for "gun rights" the fact that he calls them a "political" right, gives ammunition to the left to keep the argument going. After all its a political question.
He went into the psychotropic drug thing and I'll admit I'm not the most knowledgable person on the subject but from the little bit of reading the article and some of the linked references the connection seems possible. Of course with BigPharma pumping cash into politicians pockets we may never hear the real truth about thses drugs and their effects. Funny how once one connects the dots conspiracy theories no longer seem to be theories anymore.
