SC i think you just want some vacation time in the sunny caribbean at the governments expense. that, and you might get a shot at turning off the air supply to some rag head terrorists for recreation. ps; the facts of your first post impressed me. I think i will tell the socialist SOB'S exactly how i feel as well.
Chu' guys wanna play well into the third quarter at least, no sense punching a ref on the opening kickoff.(?)
Too Late for that Tango3. I just emailed this to Flag@whitehouse.gov. I want to report someone who is so anti-everything the Obama administration stands for, that he scares even me. He is ex-military. He owns a lot of firearms, and practices all the time. I personally have seen some of the targets he shot at great distances, and they are impressive. He was in nuke weapons security for much of his military service, and claims to have been a "designated rifleman", whatever that means. He claims to be a conservative, Constitutionalist, Patriot, and an Oath-Keeper. He is a life member of the NRA. He has been to a couple of the Tea bag protests. He doesn't like the way almost all Presidents from the very beginning all the way up until now have violated or ignored the Constitution when it suited them. He rants about Waco and Ruby Ridge and the present Attorney General's complicity in those government actions. He talks about the Neal Bortz, Congressman Linder "FAIR TAX PLAN" like it is the Holy Grail for saving the economy of the USA. He says. "Obama is leading the Country down a path to destruction, and that he is the worst President ever!" He said, "He wishes he had thought of the Obama as the Joker Poster." He said, "he would have done it better. that he would have put the caption (IMPEACH the Joker) above the poster, and the caption (SOCIALISM is not the Change I want.) underneath the poster." He is not at all happy the way the present Government is spending his tax dollars. He constantly says, "Obama lies, always has, always will!" Funny thing is, I remember that when Bush was in the Whitehouse, that, he didn't like his policys much either. The guys name and address is as follows: RXXXX T. IXXXX - USN Retired - XXXX NE XXTH Way - HXXX SXXXXXX, FlXXXXX XXXXX-XXXX - phone number XXX-XXX-XXXX In case you fools haven't figured it out yet.... RXXXX T. IXXXX is me! I am not intimidated by your heavy handed tactics. You and the President can kiss my butt. ps: This is still the USA, and freedom of speech is still legal !!! The personal data above XXXed out was included in the email to the Government.
With a nod to all, here's what I just sent. NO, I have not been drinking, but probably should. Gentlemen: If I read all I see correctly, you’ve requested that anyone hearing of anyone else disagreeing publically or privately with the administration’s policies, especially those pertaining to health care be reported via this means. So, before you hear it from someone else and I’m reported as subversive, let me do it first. This is not disinformation, it is fact. I am unhappy with the so-called health “care” scheme that is being pushed thru without regard to the unintended consequences to the elder generation which has fought for this country. That includes me, I served. And I can’t help wondering who is going to pay the premiums for my mandated insurance. More details, then, and if you deem it necessary or desirable, please add me to your list of terrorists as a former serviceman with training and the ability to think. -I do not support our commander in chief (deliberately not capitalized) nor his socialist agenda and, in fact, disapprove and continue to speak out against it to anyone that will listen. -I own firearms, often carry them. And I practice as I can, given the price of ammunition (caused by current inflationary monetary policies among other things.) -I belong to the NRA, ASME, AMA, AARP and other organizations that do not support politics as usual, and that do support rights, God given or by civilized man. -I do not support the government intervention into free enterprise. -I do not support the present spending spree nor growth of this government. -I do attend demonstrations, including teaparty events. Two so far, and there will be more. -I did support Ron Paul and continue to do so. -I am a full time believer in the Constitution. -I believe that the Bill or Rights is not subject to interpretation as the wind blows. It stands as written, as acknowledgement of rights that pre-exist the Constitution. -I advocate free speech and the right to peaceful demonstration. -I am conservative or libertarian or whatever those images may conjure up. I think for myself. -I believe that enforcement of existing “law” disguised often by regulations should be undertaken rather than creation of more layers of bureaucracy to create more regulations that will require more federal employees to enforce. (Read that in light of immigration policy particularly.) -I am an angry, retired, limited income, tax-paying, voting, born in Philadelphia American that will do every thing within my power to bring a legal and peaceful end to this subjugation of our Republic. Incidentally and immaterially, I’m white. You may trace me down via my e-mail address if it is important enough. Important or not, I and a lot more like me are watching you.
Bravo Ghrit. Very well written. I have a tendency to slap them in the face like I were challenging them to a duel. I commend you for your position, and for telling it proudly. I myself got tired of standing in the shadows talking quietly to my like minded friends. That is not me. I am very straight forward and vocal about how i feel and don't care who hears it. We each have to be honest to ourselves in our own way. Good job Ghrit !
I followed Seacowboys lead on this one. He and I are going to share a cell at Gitmo if they think we can be trusted to not conspire. (Right.)
wow, wife brought home a bottle of CALIFORNIA red wine for sphagetti tonight raved about buy her fellow r.n.'s "called ( honest truth) "menage a trois" ( yeah in my dreams...) so I'm in no shape to eloquently challenge any federal agency to a duel of wits. BUT "YOU GUYZ GOT BALLZ!
Dunno about Sea or Tacmot, but I've nothing to lose but life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. What more is there, really? For any of us?
Good point... often thought, "we've all gotta "go" sometime. Going to provide a free nation for your kids and their's is pretty noble way to go... bada-bing incorrigible whackjob list #27
Playin hackey sack in the yard at g'itmo is gonna be a bitch with those dark goggles and earmuffs on!
Guys, I admire your spirit, but now is not the time to make it easy for them. I don't want my name on any government list, I don't want them to even know I'm there. When the time comes I will be quietly observing them through a telescopic apparatus and gently contracting my forefinger.
here is a copy of the actual email I sent them; it is also posted on my blog and facebook and has been sent to everyone on my email list. Sirs, I would like to report myself as an out-spoken person that meets or exceeds all of your Orwellian criteria for domestic right-wing extremist. Please make sure that I am placed on all of your lists Darrell Wallace xxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx Alabama I am a christian, pro-life, gun-owning, angry white employed, tax-paying, tea-party supporting, member of the Grass-roots movement, 912 Project, Gun Owners of America, Ron Paul supporter, Viet Nam era volunteer that is very out-spoken about my opposition to the big- brother socialist trends that are fast over-taking our great nation. I did not support Mr. Obama, although my write-in vote for Dr. Ron Paul probably contributed to his election. I am a former life member of the NRA but resigned because of their compromising position related to our Constitutional Liberties. You see, I am a Constitutionalist and recognize that our liberties were not granted to us by you, the government, but rather that our Constitution was given to you by We The People, as an employment contract with the understanding that if you did not abide by these few simple God given rights, we would throw you out just like we did King George. I was willing to wear my country’s flag and defend these liberties at risk of my life when I was a young man and this has not changed with age. I will continue to exhaust every peaceful and legal means to stop your subjugation of our Republic and welcome being added to your watch-list of Patriot domestic right-wing extremists. Best Regards, Captain Darrell Wallace
Q1, there is a place for both those that sit in the rocks and draw beads, and for those that stand and dance in the middle of the field and draw fire. I can't hit the broad side of a barn, so it makes sense for me to stand out front and draw fire for those that can. If dancing around in the middle of the field and flap jawing by me and others draws attention to the situation and makes the trigger squeeze unnecessary, so much the better. But if the squeeze becomes necessary, don't miss. In the meantime, keep in practice, and I'll try to catch up.
Amazing, I got a form letter answer --. I have not checked the links, but have little doubt that they are brim full of propaganda (which will change with time) much the same way as the ravings of how big a disaster the proposed legislation will be if enacted. Which I think it will, but not in the form that triggered the ugly side complaints and rants. This health care business will not be solved without a lot of do-overs and more money than I can afford. And, they ignored my statement about putting me on a terrorist list. Hm. Time for an adventure to see if my passport is still alive. I think a trip to Asia might be in the cards. Lemme check my wallet -- <table style="padding: 0px; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); line-height: 1.5em; font-family: Georgia,Times,Times New Roman, serif; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="630"><tbody><tr><td align="left" bgcolor="#f5f5f5" valign="top" width="7"> </td> <td style="padding: 0px;" align="left" width="616"> <table style="font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); line-height: 1.5em; font-family: Georgia,Times,Times New Roman, serif; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"> <tbody> <tr> <td colspan="3" height="5"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="70"> </td> <td width="476"> Dear Friend, Anyone that's watched the news in the past few days knows that health insurance reform is a hot topic — and that rumors and scare tactics have only increased as more people engage with the issue. Given a lot of the outrageous claims floating around, it’s time to make sure everyone knows the facts about the security and stability you get with health insurance reform. That’s why we’ve launched a new online resource — WhiteHouse.gov/RealityCheck — to help you separate fact from fiction and share the truth about health insurance reform. Here's a few of the reality check videos you can find on the site: CEA Chair Christina Romer details how health insurance reform will impact small businesses. Domestic Policy Council Director Melody Barnes tackles a nasty rumor about euthanasia and clearly describes how reform helps families. Matt Flavin, the White House's Director of Veterans and Wounded Warrior Policy, clears the air about Veteran's benefits. Kavita Patel, M.D., a doctor serving in the White House's Office of Public Engagement, explains that health care rationing is happening right now and how reform gives control back to patients and doctors. Bob Kocher, M.D., a doctor serving on the National Economic Council, debunks the myth that health insurance reform will be financed by cutting Medicare benefits. There's more information and a number of online tools you can use to spread the truth among your family, friends and other social networks. Take a look: We knew going into this effort that accomplishing comprehensive health insurance reform wasn't going to be easy. Achieving real change never is. The entrenched interests that benefit from the status quo always use their influence in Washington to try and keep things just as they are. But don't be misled. We know the status quo is unsustainable. If we do nothing, millions more Americans will be denied insurance because of pre-existing conditions, or see their coverage suddenly dropped if they become seriously ill. Out-of-pocket expenses will continue to soar, and more and more families and businesses will be forced to deal with health insurance costs they can’t afford. That's the reality. Americans deserve better. You deserve a health care system that works as well for you as it does for the status quo; one you can depend on — that won't deny you coverage when you need it most or charge you crippling out-of-pocket co-pays. Health insurance reform means guaranteeing the health care security and stability you deserve. President Barack Obama promised he'd bring change to Washington and fix our broken, unsustainable health insurance system. You can help deliver that change. Visit WhiteHouse.gov/RealityCheck, get the facts and spread the truth. The stakes are just too high to do nothing. Thank you, David David Axelrod Senior Advisor to the President </td> <td width="70"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="3" height="5"> </td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody></table>
yup, me too. got the same form letter. but then, i have been getting letters from the blackhouse since i sent an earlier letter to our lord obama.
Following a furor over how the data would be used, the White House has shut down an electronic tip box — flag@whitehouse.gov — that was set up to receive information on “fishy” claims about President Barack Obama’s health plan. E-mails to that address now bounce back with the message: “The e-mail address you just sent a message to is no longer in service. We are now accepting your feedback about health insurance reform via http://www.whitehouse.gov/realitycheck.” The “flag” service was introduced Aug. 4, with a White House blog post saying: “There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.” White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said at a briefing shortly after the service launched: “We're not collecting names from those e-mails. … All we're asking people to do is if they're confused about what health care reform is going to mean to them, we're happy to help clear that up for you. Nobody is keeping anybody's names.” Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, wrote a letter to Obama raising privacy concerns about what the senator called an “Obama monitoring program.” “I can only imagine the level of justifiable outrage had your predecessor asked Americans to forward e-mails critical of his policies to the White House,” Cornyn wrote. “So I urge you to cease this program immediately.” In a later statement, Cornyn said: “Of course the White House is collecting names. … It is inevitable. Anyone with access to the flag@whitehouse.gov account has access to the names and email addresses that are collected in that account. … How are they purging names and e-mail addresses from this account to protect privacy?”
