Something that Xerox is doing for the soldiers-- If you go to this web site, http://www.letssaythanks.com/Home1024.html you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services. How wonderful it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! Very nice site! Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a second. It's a really cool thing Xerox is doing... Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them... Oh, and I have checked on SNOPES - and they agree it's true.
Rest easy, sleep well my brothers. Know the line has held, your job is done. Rest easy, sleep well. Others have taken up where you fell, the line has held. Peace, peace, and farewell... Readers may be interested to know that these wreaths -- some 5,000 -- are donated by the Worcester Wreath Co. of Harrington, Maine. The owner, Merrill Worcester, not only provides the wreaths, but covers the trucking expense as well. He's done this since 1992. A wonderful guy. Also, most years, groups of Maine school kids combine an educational trip to DC with this event to help out. Making this even more remarkable is the fact that Harrington is in one the poorest parts of the state.
Agreed it's a nice thing, and I'll send the card, but...... One of those wreaths needs to be laid at the doorstep of the white house for every soldier that's paid the price for this administration.
