A Fitness Suggestion That Could Drastically Help

  1. Hello to all of my fellow Survival Monkeys,

    I've been away for a while due to a long list of reasons that can be summarized into one category: Murphy's Law. However, since I now have access to a computer for a little while, I figured I would make a post about something that's been on my mind for a while now.

    I see many people day in and day out who are talking about "needing to lose weight". However, along with poor diet choices, they are driving EVERYWHERE. Now, don't get me wrong here. I'm not saying that driving is exactly a bad thing. However, if the weather is nice, and the grocery store isn't that far away, and you aren't getting about 25 lbs. of food, why not walk there? It will give you a bit more exercise, and it certainly won't kill you to walk instead of driving. Also, by doing such a thing, you save money on gas, not to mention medical bills in the future.

    In conclusion, so long as the nearest Grocery Store isn't more than a couple of miles away, don't be afraid to walk there and back on a nice day. Carry things in a backpack if they are a bit awkward to carry by hand, and the things that you can carry by hand, do so. You will burn fat, as well as lose weght quite quickly. Save going by car for when you have to go on that errand out of town, or when the weather completely sucks. Your body will thank you.
