A slowing Gulf Stream could impact your garden

    ditch witch I do stupid crap, so you don't have to

    I do a lot of square foot gardening in the wicking beds and aquaponics system. Mainly wanted the greenhouse for starting seedlings, actually. With our high winds they are a bear to keep in one piece.

    I can't grow corn because of high winds. Thunderstorms come through and by mid-summer I have a woven mat of cornstalks, which I bush-hog or burn in the fall.

    I wish lol, Sweet corn, We like to pop it in the microwave wrapped in paper towels for 4 minutes...Add butter

    Ain't that called gritz?

    I know my dad used to eat fried (corn) mush for breakfast.

    As he got older, that was off his diet. Too much carbs/sugar.

    Not the same thing, this is cut of the cob while still in the milk stage and cooked in a skillet. It isn't really fried, but you do add a lot of bacon grease to the mix, along with black pepper and salt. I have heard of folks that would form it into patties and fry it like sausage or hamburger, but we don't.

    Pfft,Takes a bit more than whats coming,I do have concerns about the oak tree in the back splitting in half.
    Thing has been loaded with a Black army ant population for years now.....
