I just bought a Camelback Thermoback. They show the bladder being out of the carrier when you clean it. How do you remove the bladder without tearing it up? I started to pull it through but stopped because it was really tight. Was I doing it correctly?
The only place where it fits tight is around the main filler neck. Just work it back and forth without too much force. It will come off. Also you really don't need to remove the bladder to clean it. We were issued the standard camelback cleaning packs when we deployed and I always cleaned and disinfected the bladder while in the carrier.
