All Hands. Be aware the Burn Pits have proven to be more deadly than thought.

The last 4 days has been an all out concern fest for a local Marine.
He spent a tour in Afghanistan and came home as he said with all his digits. He started life anew. Became a RN had a family, bought a home and considered himself just plain lucky.
Until, 6 weeks ago severe head aches, loss of balance etc landed him in the Hospital. Quickly moved from the local care center to a Major Baylor Center he was found to have Cancers on his brain and spine.

I thank all the contacts that have helped in his care and all the concerns the Volunteer and paid professionals that have dropped the mundane task and just busted butt to get his claim filed quickly.

Phones a buzzing and emails ranging across central Texas.

This is a very fast acting cancer once it shows up.

People locally have been complaining about Holston Army Ammunition Plant burning their waste (right next to the Holston River) for years. Army says they don't have to meet EPA requirements and open burning of large piles is the best way to dispose of their waste.

 

Like smoking , are they going to have to create a law that for the sake of society require a different method of disposal ?

 

Iraq contractors already have extensive Laws and I suggest that more shielded high temp incinerators will be used.
Pack it in an you pack it out, not even allowed to kill Vipers as they crawl past your creeper!
