Every morning I tend to watch CSPAN While eating breakfast.My other choice on my budget satellite programming is MSNBC.(no way to that!) It is really sad to listen to the crap spewed by many callers. I would bet that 90% have no idea what the second amendment is really about. So many are so willing to give up their rights and freedoms. I was thinking maybe this mirrors when our country was founded, It was only a small amount of people that really contributed and made it all happen. If I hear one more time about AR-15,s being machine guns or having 100 round clips or why anyone would want one. Or how people should be limited to how many guns a person can own.I may break the TV. the last caller I heard before leaving was calling for Sherriffs of all counties in the country to collect all AR-15 rifles because they are just for killing and people shouldn't own them. And I don't own an AR-15.
I listen to NPR on the commute into a university town. I go to coffee shops in a university town. I go to lunch with mostly a democratic crowd in said university town. Every single day of with work week. I call it opposition research (AKA know thy enemies) And I don't say much of anything. I'm just observing. intently.

It was about this Dick's sporting store CEO stating they will not carry Assault Firearms in the future. They had this Professor from Cornell and they expect him to say "Yes, they are taking the moral high ground...blah, blah, blah" Instead he said, "It's a strategic move. They did this after during Sandy Hook except this time the culprit had purchased a firearm from them, not the one used, but it was reported that he had purchased there in the past so they are simply distancing themselves...blah, blah..." I started laughing.
Just sittin here with a few cases of nato milspec 5.56mmx45mm ammo, and 3 boxes of plastic wrapped 30 round magazines, watching TV and loading magazines and putting them magazine pouches, so it will be easy to hand out weapons and magazines 6 to the pouch to tribe members if and when it become necessary to do so. . since I was asked I will clarify. magazines are filled with one type only but some mags are all 62gr, and some are all 55gr. I need to get some paint and id the ones with green tips
I went an purchased 4 more mags today...looked at the ammo also but I am out of storage room, nevertheless, if things go south I will be buying more. Also, checked what ARs I would purchase on the spot. I still like that new Springfield Arms Saint... @tacmotusn "weapons and magazines 6 to the pouch" What ammo pouches are you using that carry 6 mags? Can you recommend them? I would need something that is durable, holds 6, sling on it would be best...
I know. It is ridiculous. I have a 9mm pistol with a 17 round capacity. I guess that ain't for hunting either. What isn't understood is the reason for the 2A. Chiefie, make sure you cycle ALL of those mags a couple times. I've had failures out of the box. Also, trial fit all of them in all your "identical" rifles. I have some that won't work in all available platforms.
Most of this is smoke and mirrors. Yeah, there are a LOT of libs in the big cities that are sounding the claxon. But not nearly enough out there to justify a gun grab or serious limitations. The conservative and liberal opinions aren’t really that important anyway. By and large, I don’t really think the Republicans and Democrats in government give a rats ass what either group of the populous thinks. They keep marching along together towards a common goal, IMO. What the government REALLY CARES ABOUT is the opinions of law enforcement and the military towards disarmament of the people. These scheming bastards are toothless without an enforcement arm. I know Fed, State, County, and local LEOs and all sorts of active military through my veterans activity. I don’t believe the politicians are even close to getting what they want for enforcement. They won’t have it for years yet, if ever. The whole plan to get the cops on board is sabotaged by the conflicting strategies of inciting the inner city thugs to assassinate cops, support of the drug cartels, and pro-jihadi immigration policies.

Where I would disagree with you.....they are well on their way to indoctrinating an entire generation with liberal/socialist ideology. Them folks are starting to vote in larger numbers every year...... Where we need to make changes is in the education system and the unions that control the money. Kids are being molded from K to University level.... that is a tide hard to turn around.
I wouldn’t say I disagree. Until Trump got elected I didn’t believe conservatives held anything close to a majority in a national vote. I thought that sun had set and the darkness was upon us. But I still didn’t think the liberals in charge would be able to enforce any major attacks on the Constitution outside of the urban shitholes they already rule
If there ever is a really true gun grab in this country how many people do you think will just put their guns and ammo at the end of the driveway out here in the sticks and leave up a sign that states, please help yourself and bury a couple for me. I said nothing about not burying them, I just stated one scenario that is a little stronger than the boating accident plan for those that are on the books. Might be driving down the road myself in a sort of modified shell game approach. I still think that the best approach while private sales are allowed it to sell them to an old fart that is terminal and have a paper trail that you no longer own them and they can go to the cemetery and ask him what he did with them.
146 Counties out of 3000 have half the population and and growing. Those 146 Counties are largely left leaning to very liberal. Personally I believe Trump is the bang before the Liberal dystopian dreamland becomes the reality Nationally. The simple fact the Bernie should have won the democrat primary is a goof indicator of how far the dems have shifted to outright socialism. Our Schools from K through College have evolved in to full blown liberal indoctrination centers. The social balance is shifting very fast at this point in history and not in favor of Liberty and Freedom.
I use a green stick on dot, found them at office supply. I use an orange one for mag with tracer rounds (1 in 5 ratio) 10 times a many kids die in backyard swimming pools each year as do in school shootings. Nobody marching to fill them in.........
Never underestimate the stupidity of large groups of people. I think that 500+ is a large group of people that tend towards stupidity as a normal setting.
