I picked up a can of 400rds. of RUAG 7.62x51 online for $320. I don't really need it but buying ammo always makes me happy and anyway, more is always better.

Dollar a shot for good old 3 oh hate is not bad. A dollar a shot for for M193 or M855 is stupid. A dollar a shot for 223 medium size game hunting ammo or nice match ammo, I wouldn't complain.
I bought 5.56, 77gr match ammo and it shot great in my 1:7 twist rifle, just to try it. I never would have bought and loaded up 77gr bullets.

Yeah its getting better. I was actually able to get federal small pistol match primers off midway.
I have been wanting to try some 9mm subsonic 147gr loads with AA7 and 3N37 over match grade primers to make a holes almost touching at 50yd load.

3n37 and 3n38 work very well. Been using it for 10 years or more. Punch paper with 115gr here and 3N37. 3n38 is a touch slower but pushes to the end of long barrels better. Nice for heavier bullets.....

Sure could use some small pistol primers, good on your acquisition.
Lilgun powder is what I really need for my 300blk. Sweet powder
Hmm I feel time at the range coming on....

I have seen Lilgun come and go a few times in the last 2 months on midway, just try to check back daily and you will find some.

I have all the 22lr I could buy at the walmart. Cheap, about 7 cents a shot bare lead round nose federals for the poors and winchesters death by powerpoint for 14 and 1/3 cents a shot out the door, supersonic out of a rifle and subsonic out of a 4.4 inch barrel handgun.

    22wmr is back.
I sold zero 22wmr during the plandemic so I don't really need any. There was no point since all my 22wmr was 2017 and newer and I wasn't trying to off load museum quality ammo and change over to another ammo types like I was with 22LR.

@oil pan 4 I sure hope you are keeping cost basis vs selling price records. That 600 dollars per calendar year is a coming.

I started working on a barter system. Some one wants something I have, I have them buy something I need. Something that I don't want to buy like say 32lb of bulk milsurp smokeless powder, a solovent trap or a chemical that could potentially be used to make meth I have some one else buy it. I don't want to make meth I just want to make firearms primers for sporting use.

Hey Lilgun is back on midway. It wasn't on there there last night.

Just for grins I checked the website a little while ago thinking they'd be sold out. But they not only still had some they actually reduced the price almost sixty dollars from $320. to $263. So of course I bought another can.
Adding the three cans together it averages out to around seventy-five cents a round which is decent these days.
Oh, it's called Ammo shop online.

All the cheap 7 cents a round 22lr comes, sticks around for a day or 2 and it's gone, but it's back a few days to a week later.
The premium ammo sticks around, unless I buy it all. Those win 300 loose pack 22lr powerpoints are a bit spendy at 14.3 cents each but I like them.

That kind of sucks but isn't horrible.
SS109 was over $1 per shot 6 months ago. At peak it was nearly $2 a shot for small lots.

    Things must be getting better.
Last week I saw 38spcl and OMG 45ACP. Granted the 45 was just the frangible.

But today I saw .380 and low and behold, cases of 45 acp ball. I've not seen 45acp on the shelf for well over a year.

Things might be turning around ... well at least until the next panic.

Recently there's been more 22lr than even I could buy.

The next panic will be 2024.
