I just came across it today and thought that it would be worth a share.
Damn well done! I am not sure why a British voice was used which also sounded very professional in tone and articulation. Dunno but for my 2 cents he said nothing that wasn't true and indeed if they do kick off the party then this could very possibly lead to a survival scenario that this forum is all about, in more ways than one. So, some guy wearing a mask wants the people to rise up in violent revolution. If he had any balls he would unmask and reveal his true identity. Until then I won't hold my breath, and doubt Mr. Anonymous would actually participate in the bloody fighting that would come from his call for revolution. This government was bought and sold the day Kennedy was shot in Dallas, and all the hot button words in the English language can't change that. Yeah, it's a corporate owned entity, and we are being systematically stripped of our rights - BUT - open revolt is exactly what the government is prepared to deal with in spades. The most revolutionary thing people can do to start taking back what is rightfully ours is by growing our own food and voting with our pocketbooks. Until we do that, we are just pissing in the wind. If you want a revolution then do it in your backyard with a shovel and some seed, don't play into some government shill who advocates armed revolt.
@Oltymer - In general I would agree with you but in this case I don't know that you fully understand or know what it is you are talking about. Anonymous is not one man, it is a group and they are VERY secretive about their identities due to the fact that they do, in fact, practice what they preach via technology. They have been at the forefront of a number of hacks that resulted in leaked information, shutting down child pornography rings, getting information out of areas that are otherwise under the thumb of whoever the current dictator is. They are an advocacy group that does what they know how to do from a technological perspective. They don't claim to be anything other than that and for all we/you know, they have been involved in armed conflict. Anonymous is very real and much more than "some guy wearing a mask". There is a lot behind it that you might find interesting. Times have and are continuing to change and not everyone will be able to wield a musket. There are those on this board who have contacts, through multiple cutouts, to Anonymous and they and I can assure you, there is so much more to them than you are giving them credit for. As a case in point, nobody knows if "official" members of Anonymous were part of the event here: Anonymous' protest in London descends into violence - CNN.com For all we know, they were. I would just say don't be dismissive of things that you may not truly know the story behind or have all the information on.
DL is exactly right... I have some acquaintances that have ties to these folks... And they take OPSEC to a whole different Universe.... They invented the DarkNet, over two Decades ago, for their Private Comms, and have long since let that go, for "Light Years" better technology, that they use today. They really are a NO BS Ourfit... Much of what is attributed to them, isn't Actally from them... But stuff Posted by "WannaBees". If you know the process, you can verify if a submission is Actally from them, as all their submissions are Digitally Signed, with very sophisticated technology... They aren't just that Pretty Face....
I wonder how much longer we will be able to post the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in any place but the Tin foil hat section? A lot of the people I interact with each day believe that they are out dated and irrelevant in our modern world, right up there with the Bible and all those other old white mans books. OPSEC is now at a whole new level for all of us.
There is only one way to win. The earth charges us nothing to take her resources. We are paid to do so in a currency that has no worth, it is just a means of accounting and subjugation. A small handful of family's own all the wealth in the world. If we change currency, just stop using their money and defend the ground we stand upon, we win. It really is that simple.
That's why I admire you people. Living off grid is not only smart and helping the earth but it is a kind of protest to the modern government lead society. It is based on rights that were fought for and that many have died for you to have. The government is trying to take those rights without a fight but as long as you all exist, we will be winning.
